I believe even swift doesn't come under premium hatch.
In my list, only i20, Fabia, Punto, U-VA and Jazz comes under premium category.
Swift and Ritz has its own space/segment.
Agree with the above statement. Swift cant be called a premium Hatch, if its called so then what will you say about Jazz, Fabia and i20.

Is that a clarification or an opinion??
[:)]

Had not realized that there were a few intervening entries by the time I ended up replying to Zinam's statement ... so the above is not relevant any more!!

With so many awards floating around, I think there are enough to go around for everybody!!
But that brings me back to my original questions ... which is the most respected?!!

i20 surely deserved this. This is my favourite car in the premium hatch segment, Jazz being too expensive thereby losing the VFM.

Viewers' choice award, bike - Pulsar 135LS
Tata Nano here again, after Overdrive? This shows the car is still in very much limelight of media. The biggest benefit it gets here is of being cheapest car in world. Pity Maruti 800 which was developed in those early days in country where affording a car was a status symbol and was much more difficult to manufacture a cheap car opposed to this 21st Century where almost everything is possible.

Speaking about Manufacturer of the Year, No doubts why Maruti Suzuki wins the crown again.

Good to see the i20 winning and great to know that it missed a few more awards in just a few hundred votes. This is the car i like in the premium hatch segment and i even planned to buy an i20 Crdi but finally settled for a used Verna.

Civic is also my favorite car and great to see it winning an award.
