What about MTX and Kicker? Both are very good, but more expensive than JBL and Sony.
If you are going for a woofer, damp the doors/boot. It will reducing the jarring effect.
Nice choice of equipment buddy!!! R500.1 is a monster, do keep an eye n what gains you keep initially during the break-in else you'll have a fried coil of the sub.
And do post some pics.
pics are must for this kind of set up. The mono will be giving showering bass right!!
While after changing my amp to blaunpunkt velocity series, the system is working fine. No complaints till date. Bass output is very good though it will not match to the hellraiser's set up.
Hi guys,
I have a New Fluidic Hyundai Verna.I recently replaced my rear stock speakers(installed in the doors) with a set of Infinity primus PR6500 component speakers.
Although I did find some improvement in sound over the previous speakers but I am not satisfied with its performance. When I compared it with my stock speakers at the front the Infinity speakers were very pale. The sound output is half of the front ones.
When I asked my shopowner about the same he told me that component sounds less but are high on bass. But IMO even the bass is pale in comparison with my front speakers. As I am a complete novice w.r.t speakers I am in an urgent need of some expert's advice.
Will it make any difference if I switch the front and the rear ones??
I have not installed any AMPs or any other additional system.
Just post a tight slap on this idiot's face.
Crisp and clear mids are the reason one goes for components. They have enough bass to complement though. Regarding your issue, check the polarity of the drivers.

Hi Freakdude,
Can you please elaborate more on the polarity of the drivers please? Also my stock speakers sounded very less .Is it something to do with verna's wiring of speakers setup? And also can adjusting the crossover will help me ??

Polarity means which wire (out of the two stuck together in a speaker wire) to connect to which terminal on the speaker. The stock speakers are not good for mids/bass reconstruction. I'd suggest you to go for a decent pair of components in the front and if your budget permits drive them with a suitable amp.
Right now I only want to install a decent set of speakers .That's the reason I went for comp as the shopowner told these are the best. The speakers at the front sound OK but its the rear one that is troubling me.Is it possible that the default wiring in Verna is in such a way that the front speakers are louder than the rear ones??
