What freakdude explained is absolutely right. The same thing i was trying to explain but couldnt get the proper word the "lead". Our HU is not having this lead with the help of which the amp can switched on only when HU is ON. Now what is happening, whenever we switch on the ignition the amp start draining power from battery though HU is switched off and engine is not started. We have to be very carefull not switch on the ignition unnecessarily. All modern after market HU and amp comes with this facility. My dealer said if change the HU, there will not be any need of gain convertor.

Selling it coz my amp cannot run 2 4ohm sub either in serial or parallel connection.
Watts: peak 1000watts, RMS 400watts @ 4ohms

and won't pay so much for a used item, instead compromise for a low quality, but NEW things...

it is not used. it's new piece with bill and 1 year warranty.

btw the newer model you have is costlier. i hope you should get a deal at 13k , but i see people in india are not willing to spend that much money behind sub. you need to find a bassfreak person.

it remains on ... as soon as i turn on ignition and then I switch off HU , even then amps are running.

It means the dealer was talking true that the stock hu does not have that facility. We have rto be more careful hence forth not to let the key turn on ignition otherwise battery will drain out. Is there any solution on this?

A very easy solution that most installers don't know. Just install a kill switch in the amp power wiring. Turn it on only when turning on the HU. Viola.

Thanks freakdude. But what is this kill switch. Where it is fitted. Do you have any photo ofthis switch so that i can show it to my ice dealer. Any specidic brand foe it?
