Instead of coming up with continental GT,they should have come up with something like a V Twin,which will get RE in the league of Harleys. At half the cost of a Harley,RE could have given a decent 600 to 800 CC V Twin,which will have waiting periods for years [lol].I heard somewhere they are in the hunt now. Better late than never.Till then my modification will be a dream project.Yes, a 'dream'.

mine was a dream too never dreamt that it will happen until my himachal trip. dream big and you will achieve it one day. my next dream is to acquire a HD Superlow. but that would take ages as will have to save a lot.

Hey guys, tell me one thing na. The show room guys are offering for safety bar for 2k and above. Will that be okie or go online and buy different one?

Sethuji online the guards start at 900/- INR but don't know the quality, its better to get it from showroom as the glaze would remain for a longer time than the local one. that's my experience because i had one which the company provided and 2 years the glaze is still good a bit of rust here and there but that's does due to lack of attention from the previous owner of my bike. also i live in the coastal region otherwise its sturdy strong and everlasting.

Actually he gave me an offer of 10% discount if i buy puncture solutions (1350), side hook/handle (200) and Guard (starting from 2k). Say I might get 300 to 400 Discount.

how about the helmet as yours is old as read in another thread have you bought one. if not please consider a good one. which fits correctly and of good quality. yes don't buy helmets online for sure. Tomorrow is a big day for you. Many Many congratulations in advance. hope to see a lot of pics uploaded on your thread, eagerly waiting actually.[;)]

Yes. Helmet is old (almost 8 years) but do not want to change it. Need painting. Awaiting for a good person to do that.

Before me changing helmet need to buy one for my son. He is already looking for some costly one.

I just keep my fingers crossed that tomorrow it will get delivered.

i live in rural parts buddy no fabricator here to fabricate the handle bar. where in delhi do you get it please share the contact if you can.

May be you can check out any Harley davidson showroom near your house for the handlebar and choose a handle bar of your choice. (Don't know that they have or not but try to ask them as a extra spare part).

I haven't asked/heard from any Harley davidson showroom but i think they will be providing it as a spare part when it is ordered. (Give it a try)

@Nmm mitra will try them lets see, but i'am a bit skeptical on their pricing normally all their spares cost a bomb. guess what i called them just now and the cost of the fat boy handle bar in black is 23,000 INR. yeah you read it right 23,000INR. i think ill pass and may be try to fabricate my own if i don't get anything in the market.
