Hi,

if you need to use a badge, get 3M tape and use that to install them. Note that the tape has pressure activated adhesive. So it will just be tacky when you first install it. Once you apply pressure, the tape will hold well

Hello Guys,
I have recently bought an alto800 as my first car and would upgrade in a couple of years leaving this as a family car. The one thing that really looks out of place on the car is that it looks severely under tired. The older alto looked alright with the same set of wheels. But, the alto 800 may be due to its larger wheel arches looks disproportionate.

I have been trying very hard to find some one who has upgraded their tyres along with alloys on the new alto 800 but failed to find anyone.

165X60R13 or 155X65R13 usually seems to be the preferred options for the older Alto.
the 165 seems to be the closest to the diameter of OEM 145X80R12 which least difference in speedo.

But read that the 165 does need spacers to take 4/5 persons (full load).
Would it be the same case with alto800 with its bigger looking arches as well?
Anyones got any idea?

Also would 5J rims do good or do i need 5.5J for 165?
5.5J with 165 seem to be a problem on the older alto without spacers

Vamsi, you can safely run 165/60 13. We have fitted the same on old alto and does fine. There should be no issues.

It is marked as xtreme alloys. I am sorry, I don't have any information. I bought these for 29,000 rupees at Siliguri.

I don't know about the pcd. It is 15" with 6j.

@jigme i did the research and bolero also has 160 PCD. if you could please help me. is a 16 " with the same PCD available in 8J and whats the cost. just see if the 16 " fits your bolero if it does it fits my vehicle as well. please let me know the cost. i really liked it so much i have been trying to source similar designs but to no avail.
