You'll have to go to the market and check with the dealers. Best is go to motor concepts near moti nagar. I have heard lots of good things about ICE upgrades. They'll recommend what would be the best for you and maybe get you the same caska unit at a lower price.

I spoke withe the guy over the phone and they are recommending me pioneer one costing 43k and its plug n play and will fit properly.I will go to them and check personally and moreover this HU has all the features which were recommended in the earlier posts.The model number he is saying is Pioneer F60BT costing 42k for the HU and extra 6k for the part for linking it with steering mounted controls.
So suggest me is this the correct price for this model and fitment he is saying will be 95% accurate but we can't point out the difference in the fitting of HU.

A little bit difference will be there but they will fit it nicely. On Snapdeal the rate is 39500 rs. If you go there just baragain a little bit and do click a photo of that part costing 6k. No doubt they are good but they will charge a premium also.

And even i read some reviews , it has everything. Better to go with pioneed in this budget. And about motor concepts , i have read that the owner there recommend based on your personal needs so maybe he'll suggest you something else.

I'll also go there to upgrade the speakers or maybe add an amp. I had local fitting previously in my i10 and most of the time the wires created trouble.

Hello guys.....update from me.I finally changed my stock HU with Pioneer F60BT today and work was done by Motor Concepts Kirti Nagar.I am fully satisfied with the work done and they took approx 3 hrs to do this.
Let me now tell you what all I did.I spoke with the owner and he is a decent chap and helpled me suggesting to go for damping for front doors and change to change component speakers from front and suggested me to with Rainbow one.He even showed me that already installed in one car and I was impressed with that.
So finally I asked him for damping of front doors and to change front components and HU.I am happy with the result of everything and HU fits perfectly.But only one negative that we can't pick or end calls from steering control we can only change music from that so for answering call we need to click on answer on HU or directly from phone.Rest all is fine.
Now you want to know how much damage I had in my pocket.So totally I paid a whopping 70k which is distributed like this

Pioneer HU-42k
Interface and panel-6k
Damping-4800(1200 for a single damping sheet total 4 sheets for front 2 doors)
Rainbow Components-15k
Reverse Camera-1800
Labour -500

A quick update
I have finally got my Silver HONDA CITY SVMT iDtec got delivered to me on Thursday.
My Parents and my sister love it.,of course me too.
My first upgrade is Tyres upgrade to 195/60 r15 on stock rims from stock skinny 175/65 r15.
I have been quoted a price of 5900 per tyre, Michelin energy XM2 195/60/R15,
in exchange i got Rs 4000 per tyre for stock Michelin XM1 175/65/R15.
I have paid a total of Rs 9500 for five tyres.

I am seeing a red light blinking in instrument panel when vehicle is locked with key or remote. Is it security system alarm. It going off when I unlock the car with key or remote and comes on as soon as I lock the car. Is it normal or something fishy I should smell here?
is any way i can deactivate it?

Hi, congratulations first!

It might be some alarm, blinking to show that it is ON. You should have no problem with that IMO, it would scare any potential thieves that the car has got an alarm.

What type of light is blinking? (like we have lights for ABS, Seatbelts, Door open, etc.) Do check your car's manual for deactivating this (I assume it would not be possible to deactivate it if it is associated with the alarm). City owners can confirm.

Prasanth, its normal. Its just to intimate you that the alarm is functioning. Kindly don't deactivate the same and let it be. My 9 year old Esteem does have this blinker installed for remote locking.

I am having 2014 VX model but in my car red light never blinks when its locked by remote.Is that a issue or 2015 models have that in it and mine not????

Does your car make the sound when locked and unlocked from remote? There are some central locking in which there is no sound. I think, the OEM does provide it as feature in central locking now because even my 2011 Honda City does not have it. I got the central locking fixed by dealer at the time of purchase.

Yes it makes click like sound when locked and unlocked from the remote.But what's the reason red light in my car never blinks after locking it??

I believe the locking system that has been put in your car by OEM does not have this provision of added blinker. Nothing to be worried about Munish; As said above in my post, even my 2011 Honda City does not have a added red blinker for central locking.

This is the information provided in manual.
I think its security system alarm. I doubt I somehow managed to get it activated or it is activated by default.

I doubt i triggered it by opening the door with Key instead of using remote or It might have been activated by default.
I don't know is there a way to deactivate it.
to check how this works ,I opened the boot with key with all door locked and it started to make beep noise and then I unlocked and alarm stopped.

Anyhow its a safety feature,but i hope it doesn't drain the battery.
my mother made me to call sale excecutive to enquire about this,he told its a normal feature and nothing to worry
