Most of the aftermarket things are chinese and you will get the same thing at higher price from the local market.

Just see the seller's rating and the people's review and decide.
Thanks bro!! Almost finalised one , waiting for sellers response regarding the fitment location. They have cameras for front inside the H logo too!! Looks Tempting☺

I'm planning to buy rearview camera from aliexpress !! Is it worth considering these Chinese products? Anyone bought from aliexpress kindly help me
I have xenos rear view camera. After coming from 20k service, it stopped working. I went to honda service to have it checked. They simply refused to even check and called xenos service person. Service person after checking with his demo camera says its fault with camera and asks for Rs. 2350+350. I think its some wiring fault or could also be mischief in showroom. Lesson learned is these needs to changed frequently. So, better buy from local brand so that hole in bumper need not be changed as we can buy from same brand.

It's really looking nice could you please upload some pics. Talking about the wipers from where you got them and in which way are they better?
Hello Sorry for late reply......Well I bought chrome beefing from karol bagh in 850 bucks and it enhances the look of the car.Will post pics later.And I bought these wipers from Chandigarh from my friends shop for 1000 bucks and these blades wipes off the windscreen quite effectively as compare with the old ones and it looks upmarket.

Hi,
I wanted to know what measurements of wiper blades did you buy for your city. Mine is a ivtec VX variant.
What's the cost? And where did you source it from?
Would buying from online be a good option? What's your suggestion?
Well I bought it from my friend's shop for 1000 bucks.Well the size is 22' nd 14".You can buy it online also from here but it will cost you 1800 bucks so better to buy from car accessory shop.Well here is the link for your reference

Hi Guys.....I am looking forward to install HID's with projectors in my car.I called up the accessory guy and asked him the pricing and he gave me price 22k for projectors and 10k for each pair of hid's of morimoto brand with 1 year warranty on each part.I also asked him for drl foglights and for that he told me 5500 a pair.
So guys what you think is it worth it or no???? And as winter season is about to come so tell me these hid's will spread good light in fog or no as this is my main concern.

I wonder how did you miss this article - READ HERE !

Regards
Dr MUDHAN
Sorry sir !! My bad[frustration] didnt go through your thread thoroughly !! Will order same CCD type camera and update this thread. By the way I don't have a screen for display ,in two minds whether to go for a 2 Din system or just a display for now.

@ss64
Thanks for your suggestion !! But I was looking to add a camera (no drill)similar to Dr.Mudhan and gladly found out [:D] You are right about using same brand though !! Looking to experiment with these Chinese cams for a while. If everything works ,Will order one for the front definitely as sometimes I can't judge in tight parking spaces.

@munish
I think the prices are a bit steep !! Anyways Projectors with HiD will suffice your requirement. IMHO Drl fogs are just bling , they have little or no effect on visibility. Just a Fog lamp setup should be fine !! There are some aftermarket plug and play headlamp setups with Projectors and drls inbuilt too ! Do check those out !!

Anyone familiar with Federal tyres?? I have seen them in a car tyre shop and the dealer was telling good about them. It seems they are cheaper too. 195/60/15 costs around Rs.4700/tyre.

Assuming that you are having the chinese Alpine (local-made), it would put out nothing more than 75w per channel. Driving 55w speakers is not a problem. The speakers which get damaged in the long run are those which are run at extremely high volumes for long periods or those which are fed with lots of power (say 125w for a 20w speaker).

Having two different subwoofers will ruin your soundstage. Both the woofers will have different specifications, one will respond faster and the other would hit harder, there are so many parameters and you will end up cancelling the bass lines from 1 subwoofer with the others'. This would not give precise definite bass, sort of like hearing 2 car audio setups at the same time. Either have both Sony or both JBL.

Why do you feel the need for the TS20?

I feel both the Sound Barrier and Alpine amps are chinese and are the weak link for your system. Which equipment do you already have? And what is your precise requirement from the system and whats the budget? Do you already have all these fitted in your car? If possible, share the specs of the amplifiers. Powering the speakers with an amplifier that has both LPF and HPF settings would be a wise idea.

Get a Fusion wiring kit, or better would be JBL, Bull Audio or Scosche 8 Gauge but at double the cost of Fusion. Avoid cheap eBay kits as wiring is indeed an important part of ICE.

Thanks for the detailed reply

I also somewhat feel that the amplifiers are week point... And yes I got them installed with the fusion wiring kit. I am getting a good bass but the audio quality is not satisfying as that day they hurried up so the settings are yet to be done.. I will go there tomorrow and get it fixed up.. Kindly recommend the amplifiers please. The current setting is that he has out paired each amp with two speakers and one subwoofer so that there is no load. Kindly comment on that also. And to get better output what do you recommend should I remove the sony subwoofer and use just the jbl and pair one amplifier with it and other with the speakers..

Do look up on both the amplifiers and let me know what all settings are there, I will help you. Installers basically jack up the bass with the amplifier's settings which is harmful for the subwoofer (if it cannot take all that power) and amplifier (overheating issue).

If you are ready to change both the amplifiers, get 2 four channel amplifiers. One to drive your speakers (which should have minimum 55w x4 RMS power) from any good brand like Kenwood, Pioneer, JBL or even Sony. The other one to drive your subwoofers (2 channels bridged for each subwoofer) which should have slightly higher rating around 70-80w RMS per channel. You can select the brand and power output depending on your budget. Price would start from 4k anyway per amp.

Regarding the load part, this is where he has done it wrong. It would not help with the load in the current wiring also as the bridged output of the 2 channels (of sub) of each amp are actually 2 individual single channel outputs combined together. Infact this is messing your sound quality as one subwoofer is getting more/less power than the other as the amps are not having the same specs (or are identical). Same case with your speakers also, one set would be getting more/less power than the other. Get all 4 speakers on one amplifier and both subwoofers on one.

See what price you can get from the Sony subwoofer. You can exchange it for a grey market JBL subwoofer (same model as what you have) and enjoy your music! It is because 2 of your channels would be left idle if you use only one subwoofer.

You know what I would personally suggest?
Sell off both the amplifiers, sell of the Sony woofer.

Buy a 4 channel amplifier from good brand with around 55w RMS per channel and pair all the speakers with this amp. Next buy a 2 channel amp with 70-75w RMS and put the JBL subwoofer on it. This way you'll enjoy your music in great quality without mess.

For chrome beading, outside is good. For illuminated sill plates, dealer is better if your place doesn't have good professional installers. You can instead go for normal non-illuminated sill plates if you want to buy from an aftermarket shop, as I am sure you won't want them to mess with your brand new car's wiring. Bangalore members will be able to suggest good aftermarket shops for this.

EDIT - Congrats on the car buddy!
