Hi friends,

As I saw in all the forums discussing about stock headlight bulbs,it has been mentioned as H4 55/60w as the specification. When I just casually checked the specification of bulbs from back of the bulb I noticed it's marked as H11 55w. Please refer the attached pic. So my question is what is the difference between H4&H11 with same wattage and which one is superior ,performance wise? TIA

AFAIK, the previous gen Honda City had H4 and the present gen (aka 4th aka 2014-2015) has H11. Both have different base and headlight housing bulb holder so you cannot interchange. i.e H4 on H11 or vice-versa. You'll have to buy H11 bulbs only for your car.

H11 bulbs were used as fog lights in previous gen. H4 is very common bulb used for headlight but I don't know why Honda switched to H11.

I think performance would be same since the wattage is similar but headlight reflector design also effects performance. Practically its not possible to test the performance within the car due to base difference.

Friends, need your valuable suggestions on the below.

1. Is it really VFM , by installing sun film for the front windshield? I'm sure it will cutoff the heat drastically but does it help in reducing the glare in night especially when someone is on high beam. Any chances that clarity will be reduced? What are the brands recommended?

2. Where can I find the 3d shaped trunk mat for City in Bangalore? Any brand is preferred..

Please share your thoughts.

TIA

Is there any chance to get single alloy same design that comes with city 2014 ?

The idea is to use alloy for spare wheel, so that I can use spare wheel in wheel rotation.

I Installed Wurth sunfilms in my car's windshield.. The heat was considerably reduced(may be 30 to 40%), but I faced difficulty while driving in night especially in single lane roads because of the glares. I exactly do no the reason as whether the sunfilm was not stuck properly or due to the specific brand or it will be the same in all brand sunfilms. So finally I removed the sunfilm. When I enquired in 3M, they said the 3M films are anti glare. But I didn't want to try because my ride includes riding in single lane roads in nights frequently...

yes. You can source a new alloy(single piece) from Honda ASC itself.

Hello everybody..

I have an enquiry regarding the alloy wheels which i want to get for my car. I will not upgrade the tyres and they will be stock only which are 175/65/15. I am really confused that will adding alloy to the the car reduce its fuel efficiency or not. I also read that they help in heat releasing of breaks and i also read that they are comparitively lighter which further rather increase the fuel efficiency. Kindly please clear my doubts as i don't won't alloys on the sake of reducing car's fuel efficiency at all. I have attached the photo of the alloy which i want.

Buddy, I too have got alloys in my 2011 CITY Ivtec without Tyre Upsize. This I did 1.5 year ago in 2014 and I haven't faced any issues in regards to FE. They surely are lighter than the stock alloys and improve the aesthetics as well as to some extent the ride quality. I have used Veloche brand, BBS Replica alloys and they have been serving me well without any issues till now. So, go ahead and don't worry it will all be good.
