@dock ap- in the new figo and even the ecosport the charging point is always on and is not limited to 45 minutes. Is it 45 minutes for the everest?
I am sorry, It is 75 minutes in the endeavor. The below info is from the manual -

With the engine off the power point works up to maximum 75 minutes.
The power point turns off automatically if the battery voltage becomes low.
This prevents the vehicle battery from running out of charge.

Today while washing the vehicle i noticed a stopwatch kind of shape in the suspension below. Anyone knows what it is? Pic below, It is the white circle with red hand.

Three days back done a 5 to 8 kms test drive on endeavour 3.2 top end,
Such a big looking suv but when it comes to driving it's a typical ford car like tractable driving feel, and takes on potholes and bad patches with ease.

Initially I hate the automatic transmission rubber band effect while during auto gear Change, unlike ecosport and Figo auto gears this one automatic has very minimal rubber band effect

Overall my impression is
Its an elephant from outside
Feels like sitting like a king in the drive seat
And can control such a big car just like your pet dog (it will listen and obey your orders just like how you do in your small car)

Completed 1035 kms round trip from Coimbatore - Coorg - Bangalore - Coimbatore.

The car:
1. Overall driving experience is excellent.
2. Hill climbing is effortless against my doubt with the weight to bhp ratio.( Mine is 2.2 auto)
3. Aircondition is superior - saved us from 42degs at out side.
4. A great highway cruiser.
5. Top speed tried 130. Didn't like to explore further.
6. Overall fuel efficiency 10.3 kmpl, including 200 kms of city driving, 300 kms within hills.
7. Average speed 56km/hr.
8. Crusie control helped a little. (The manual says just press + button, But it actually does not work that way, You can have to press the cruise control button and then the speed set + button)
The road:
8. Most difficult stretch old Madras road-ORR in Bangalore. 2.2 kms/hr speed.
9. Best stretch - Chengapallai -Coimbatore (Neelampur)
10. Worst road - Nothing to point out in terms of quality. But in terms of traffic - Srirengapattna - Bangalore. This is a state maintained 4 lanes, with heavy traffic. Should be converted into 6 lanes with enough flyovers.

Here is a full video review of new Endeavor vs new Fortuner
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L1OwvIqaQVE
The pricing seems to be way higher in South Africa for the new Endy
And the version tested seems to be the Trend version as of India
But the idea is clear, The Fortuner might not eek a easy win here in India as it has in South Africa ,
Toyota will have to price new Fortuner lower than current one to succeed,
Anyway I think the Ford still got a lot of + points over the Tfort

New endy is really eye catcher, as compared to fortuner, unless fortuner exteriors are changed in 2016 model.

Toyato is just trustworthy name in India, so most money rich but un-techie persons will choose Toyota fortuner blindly, assuming they are purchasing the best & dependable vehicle.

Fortuner is no match to current selling SUV models in India when compared features & price wise, it is high priced & under featured, as somebody already commented before.

Customer trust is what Toyota has and its true , Toyotas reliability is legendary, probably Ford too can be that reliable but one needs to take lot of care and be ready to spend some money post warranty

Hello.....It's been a while I updated anything on my new possession due to my hectic schedule.Well to start with I am really happy with the beast in every sense.I just drove it approx 1500kms till now in 2 months but whenever I drive the car it just makes me feel good about it.
Driving on the highway is a breeze and it looks great in front of other suv's.And even in city driving its easy to drive as the steering is very friendly.AC is quite chilling and sometimes I really need to increase the temperature.I like the seating comfort and even rear passengers never complained of anything.Third row is not for adults so its better for kids only.
As per the fuel efficiency I am pretty satisfied with the beast.Once I took it to manali nd kasol but forgot to check the figures. But last week went to delhi and I calculated it and I am attaching the picture for that.I guess after first service it will increase lil bit.
Overall I am satisfied with my purchase. Also while driving the car I get lots of glares from people driving other cars and specially T-Fort owners[clap][clap]

Finally one more significant update as this truck is giving me more smiles day by day.We were 6 adults and one child and with 8-9 trolley bags. Also last row one seat was folded due to extra luggage.I was hoping that truck will not run smoothly due to the weight but mind you it was moving so smoothly without any fuss.Again I got lot of stares from T-Fort guys[clap]
I drove it at the speed between 90-110 max and this time I got the mileage of 13kmpl.I am satisfied with every single thing of the truck.AC is super chilling and I need too increase the temperature many times.Service is due in one week time.
Do you guys got any accessory or no do let me know as I am not seeing any accessory online.

@munish
Fantastic update man,
13 kmpl is really good for the new Endy since it weighs around 2.1 tonns on its own and with 4 on board, its amazing, the machine is a winner,
The new T Fort is a good SUV, but I think the new Endy is even better than the yet to be launched T Fort,
Nobody will regtret for buying new Endy even if new T Fort flashes by, thats the best part of new Endy, I think they have taken New Endy to a next level.

We were 6 adult with the average weight of 70kgs and 1 kid and overtaking was very easy. And yes Endy is more vfm then the new T-Fort as well.Even the last row comfort was ok as my cousin who is 5feet 10inches was sitting comfortable in the whole journey and was saying head room is much more then the T-Fort.
I felt good in delhi when I gave my car to a valet parking guy and he told me that this car looks great in front of T-Fort and looks much more premium from inside too[clap][lol][:D]
