pen drives should be in FAT 32 format to be playable in cars, try formatting the pen drive in FAT 32, also in FAT 32 large files exceeding 4 GB cannot be copied
Yes, I formatted again with FAT32 (as the system is Sync from Microsoft :-)), and files works well.
Some files copied from Mac system are still unrecognizable, But from windows they work fine.

Everyone would expect a system like this to play videos. Any Video formats supported?
I formatted it in Fat32 only. One folder has approx 800mb file and other about 2.5gb.Smaller one is playable but larger one showing error.I am copying files from mac.I will try to copy it from Windows laptop. But I am still in dilemma what exactly the problem is.
I tried playing video formats but with no success.

Do post your ownership review here also as I checked you posted that on other forum as well but I won't be able to see that there as I have been rejected twice to be the member[frustration][frustration][confused]

Dockap - May I know which brand did you get? Is that easy to install? I do not want to cut wires in a new car - sorry to be ignorant, how did you do it and how does it work?
I get 9.8km (2.2L) if I try manual (s) mode and 8.7 if I leave it to Auto.
It is called A8 HUD. It is plug and play. Just connect it to the OBD port below the steering.
You need to cut a small piece from the edge of the cover over the OBD port maybe 2 or 3 mm. No need to cut wires or such.

MAC system uses different file format for error checking while copying like Checksum,CRC for Windows, MAC uses something else, which might be an issue,
Windows is ideal for all car based operations,
Another thing to try is, copy some files of 2.5 GB folder into anothet folder and try copying it, if thats roo not happening then issue might b format, like wmv files, flac files etc mightnot play in car audio system, anyway try again with Windows, it should work

Thank you. I have the fortuner 2wd Auto as well. Compared to the fortuner this feels really special. Though it is unfair to compare with the fortuner today as the new one is coming in next year. Overall I'm happy with the suv and I feel it's worth the money. When the fortuner comes in next year, the top end is likely to be priced at around 38 to 40 lac on road. So I feel endeavour is really a good buy today.

But I really wonder how Ford went wrong thinking trend will sell more than the titanium for just a difference of 2 lacs. I'm sure the team who looked into it would have cost them loosing their jobs.

I'll update as and when I explore deep. [:D]

Congrats [clap]. Looks like 3.2 titanium. Please update on city fuel economy.
Hey. Thanks. Yup it is the 3.2 titanium 4x4. Congrats on your car as well. I have been following your posts earlier. I wanted to let you know I have changed the stock mrf tyres. I got the yokohama geolander series. I felt it was worth the upgrade. I'm getting about 5.5 to 6 kms in bumper to bumper traffic in City and maybe around 7 to 7.5 in relaxed city driving. On the highway cruising in between 110 to 120 I got about 10.5 which is not bad keeping in its weight.

And I was lucky to get mine as well at pre budget prices as the car was billed to my dealer on the 29th of Feb. That was close. Saved about 1.3 lac. [:D]

Want is your feedback on your car overall?

Got my car delivered today morning at 11am.Delivery was fine as I did all the paper work day before yesterday so it hardly took me 15-20minutes to take the delivery. After that advisor took 30minutes to provide me the knowledge about all the features and then from there I went to 3M Care to het nomad mats and to do anti rust but they don't have the labour today so I they just installed nomad mats and overall quality is nice.
Drove the car for only 25kms and I am happy with the driving.I will be going on highway next week so I will give the full review that time about the performance.Till then enjoy few pictures[:)]
Also tell me shall I go for the exterior protection film from 3M or no?????
Congrats man on your Suv. Looks good [:)]
I don't suggest you going for the exterior protection film from 3m spending around 1 lac rupees. It's not worth it. You rather get it polished every now and then and keep the shine. [;)]

Order the same from ebay.in, need to explore OBD port (I have not checked it yet), and I will write if I have any doubts.

I like a Dashcam too, But, not interested in wires hanging towards charger - Is there any better way to handle it?

Congrats for you car.Well I didn't go for the full exterior protection film instead I just went for door edges and bumper edges for that you can see the pictures I posted.Even I think so it's waste of spending a lac on the full protection.I paid approx 18k for the PPF and exterior protection polish. Also I bought the Meguiar leather conditioner and cleaner from 3M for approx 700 bucks and it's really worth it.
Also bought the turtle leather cleaner for 600 bucks from car accessory shop and it's really good as I tested it on my other car leather seats and it did a great job.I will refer these 2 things to buy to make the leather interior looks sparkling always.
Yesterday I went for short highway run for approx 70kms to n fro and I got the mileage of 12.5 and I maintained the speed from 90-100kmph.I am pretty satisfied till now with the beast.
Next week I will be on the highway for 500km to n fro and after that going to manali next day so will update you about the car after that.

Thanks for continuous updates, the FE figures that you mention makes me happy. Did you drive on S mode or all time in Auto? Many recommend custom-cut mat from 3M. Did you check that?

Also, do you plan for a floor mat? Or do you think a good vacuum cleaner would suffice?

Well I drove it in auto mode all the time but next week I will try manual mode as well.I went for 3M nomad mats and they are really good as they are in my other car for the last 2 years and serving good.
I won't suggest you to go for floor mats as for that we need to dismantle the seats and as it has airbag in it so I won't suggest you to go for that. And vacuuming it in every 10-12 days is I guess fine.I will suggest you to go for nomad mats as it will absorb all dirt in it so you don't even need to bother about vacuuming it in every 10-12 days.

Thank you, Feedback on the car in one word "AWESOME" [:D]

The 12V power outlets in Ford vehicles keep supplying power for 45 minutes after shutting down the car so if you install a dash cam you have to manually remover the power adapter from the 12V socket and plug it in every time you shutdown and start the car. I searched for a solution and came across the dash cam hardwiring kit from ebay USA and ordered one. I am still waiting for it. I think it is stuck in Indian customs cause is has reached India more than a week back. Once i get it if it works fine i will tell you. Link to kit below

The stock mats are not of much use in collecting dirt and will start stinking once monsoon starts so today I purchased those 3M Nomad type Mat from a local Mat shop for less than 1/3 the price of 3M and cut and placed them myself. They are really good. Cost me Rs 2000/- for the same from 3M it would have cost me 7500/- Pic below.

Added 3M Nomad Mat, that coveres maximum possible floor area and also added protection films on behind door handles and the door linings, Thanks Munish for the recommendation.
Order HUD unit too from eBay.

Any idea on how to cover the flat seats floor area (after folding all rear-seats) I do not want to hurt the seat backs with luggages and Bicycles. I thought of buying vinyl floor covers, as two pieces - Once for the rear and one for the mid-row. Any better ideas?

I recently took TD of Endeavour this weekend. I was completely in love with this macho. Only 2.2L AT was available for TD. Car was indeed fun to drive around. Had a superior sense of feeling and it's premium interiors and endless feature list made it quite appealing.
