I am using today also without any issue on my windows phone. Try to uninstall and re-install it again.

Guys, since last month or so, on my wife's 720, wattsapp though is working properly without issues, the messages doesnt load all of them, gets limited to few messages of older ones which shows, and while going back to older ones goes out of wattsapp after few scrolls,
what could be the issue, reloaded it, updated it tried everything but still it works the same ways.
Was checking few messages on my androin and it shows from the beginning of the date on my android, but on her handset it shows only few of them and doesnt go back.
Also sometimes doesnt even load morning messages, but would show the ones sended when she gets online from that time onwards.

Whatsapp would be back on WP platform soon, with bugs and flaws fixed, which will also mean smooth running on WP8.1, where the performance has been a problem.
Lets have patience until then.

Also, in the mean time try a soft reset.
Make sure you do not delete the app as it is currently unavailable.

Good news guys, I just got an update for WhatsApp on my Lumia 720. Flaws, bugs seem to be fixed. Privacy settings added. All messages load, doesn't crash.
simply wow. Still using it, lets see how it goes.

Windows Phone 8.1 gets native file manager app Files

File managers can be a godsend when you have to look for a particular file within any app, which is why it’s surprising the neither of te big mobile platforms have a native file manager. Until now that is, as surprisingly, Microsoft is the first to correct course.

While it cannot be denied that Windows Phone has been slower in adding apps to its store, Microsoft has built a lot of nifty native features within Windows Phone 8.1, the latest build of the OS. Now, a native file manager called Files has popped up. Microsoft had revealed that Files would be coming earlier during a Reddit AMA.

The app features a whole set of utilities which are seen in most file managers and allows users to access files on the SD card and the phone memory. It lets you search for particular files, as well as share one or multiple files. In addition, basic folder creation, copying, renaming and moving and deleting functions are also present.

The Files app is only available on Windows Phone 8.1, which still hasn’t rolled out for all devices. However, for those who are itching to get their hands on the latest version of Windows Phone, there’s a simple method in which that can be accomplished. All you need to do is register yourself as a developer and follow the steps mentioned in this article.

win 8.1 and whatsapp doesnt get installed..

Previously 2 weeks ago whatsapp was removed from store. Now available again.

Got the wattsapp update on 720 and its working fine now, no hang and shows all the old messages as well.

Guyz need help on my Nokia Lumia 625 the phone comes with 8 GB Internal (Phone) memory and I have added an additional 16 GB additional memory card. I have selected the settings so that the Cell has to store all downloads / data etc., on to the 16 GB External memory card but whenever we download apps and nokia movies etc., it is being dumped onto the Phone memory which has almost exhausted. I would appreciate if anyone has faced similar problem and the solution. Thanks in advance.

I assume you're running WP 8 and not 8.1. It's not possible to install apps or games on the external SD currently. You'll get an update this month or next month which after you can store then on the external SD card.

If you want it now itself, update to the dev. preview. Search on Google for 'install WP 8.1 dev. preview'.
