Since I already set it up since GDR3, the process was easy for me.
The update is around 400 - 500 MB.

From any windows 8 machine you can use the app via browser I use it regularly without any problems on my surface 2 .

Guys, need urgent help, on my wife's 720 she was using data through our home wifi connection and so did not recharged her 3g data plan on her prepaid card.
She is travelling and so yesterday got the 3g data recharged, but her net isnt working, and i dont have handset with me to see why it is not getting active,
Can anyone guide me to can ask her to see in the settings menu, where to check regarding this, she enabaled roaming as well but still data isnt working.

I think a switch off and switch on should work !!

I did not rk,asked her to do so but still it's not working reasons unknown.

^^go to network in settings and open the default automatic window and reselect the same automatic and see. If not switch off, remove the sim wait for a minute , put it back and switch on again. This should work

A question for all those who updated to Windows 8.1 under developers preview mode. What would happen when the final version is released by Nokia? Will the update get updated OTA or again should we updated using the same option?

I know that going back is not an option post upgrading via preview for developers.

Suggestions please.

guys my phone is giving lots of problems. it just died while using yday and today morning it worked after i charged it up because eventually the battery ran out. again after 2-3 hours of usage, it died again. i am totally stuck and not in a position to take to nokia care also till saturday.

Are the data services on? Ask your wife to check the same.
Else, do a soft reset.

Actually there is a way to go back.
Anyway, all the users will get the final release OTA along with any firmware update that Nokia releases so do not worry.

Well have been using a 920 since it got launched in India and have barely had any issues. Also, there are many who have had troubles with Android.

Anyway, try a soft reset or a hard reset once. If the problem persists, then most likely its a hardware issue.
