@SankarNarayanan & experts

Wouldn’t this HID upgrade cause discomfort to drivers coming from the opposite direction ? Doesn’t it cause glare that could temporarily blind the oncoming driver with the reflectors designed for normal bulbs?

Or are you talking about the HID + Projectors?

Its for my fog lamps so i don't think it will cause discomfort to oncoming traffic. I think more damage will be done by my Philips 130/100 bulbs in my headlight[:)]

They have good throw and spread.

It all depends on the focus of projectors, if you are not going to use projectors then i bet they'll blind everyone in front of your ride.

Color of light and nothing else.
4300- normal color which we have in our stock cars.
5000- white light
6000- white with blue tint
8000- bluish light
So if i go for 8000k i will have bluish lights na won't that look good in my Dzire?

It all depends on the focus of projectors, if you are not going to use projectors then i bet they'll blind everyone in front of your ride.
Can i fit projectors into my fog lamps? I don't think so because it's so small na?(I meant the fog lamps.)

Then you don't need any HIDs, just get the white philips bulbs from any shop and get them installed, it'll solve the purpose.
But my current ones aren't bright enough. So thought of buying HID kit for fog lamps. Inorder to make focus it one needs to buy projectors as well right? But my question is can such a setup be done in a fog lamps?

What purpose does this serve ? By blinding the incoming traffic one is digging his own grave. Please get it aimed such that it causes less damage,if you still want it on your car. 100/90W should do an excellent job,if the OEM setup is inadequate.

It will and more in foggy and wet conditions. Its also certain that you will smoke your lamps.

No my purpose is definitely not to blind oncoming traffic. During nights I need good throw to see the winding roads and Traffic directions. Another problem is lots of guys fitting extra powerful hid which basically blinds almost everyone. Only in those situations I use high beam so that those guys lower their beam. In most cases I use low beam.

As per my small knowledge fitting just hid won't solve my problem of very poor visibility. Fitting projector along with hid will solve the issue but fitting hid with projector in my car fog lamp is not possible as per my car accessories technician. Need advise on how to go about this.[confused]

Sankar

If you would search for fog light projectors, most probably you would get them for dezire at-least.
You sure about this because when i asked my accessories shop technician he told me the whole fog lamp needs to be taken out and projectors will be fixed into the lamp instead. He suggested instead going for a bulb upgrade wich i think is also cost effective. I was searching through internet for projectors for my Dzire's Fog lamps but couldn't get anywhere.[confused] Help needed on this:please:

Sankar
