Hi All,

Almost finalized on Neo Ally wheel. Any issues with Neo alloy wheel that anyone know about? I am interested in a 14in Design Neo Alloys.

Welcome to Neo Wheels - No. 1 Official Brand

It will look something like this in my car

Welcome to Neo Wheels - India's No. 1 Official Brand in India

Please do let me know your suggestions. I also like the following designs

Smoke
Vertigo
Titan

A bit confused on the design.

Also some of my friends are advising me to use the tires for 2years which means 50k usage and then change to 15in alloys and Michelin 185/70 R15. One service center advised me to stick to 14in wheels while another service center advised me to upgrade to 15in and i won't be facing any issues in upsizing to 15in. Advise needed:please:

Regards,
Sankar

I think your friends are correct you should either sell your tires or use them till they qualify to be changed. Then get 15" wheels with decent tires, michelins are good.

How about using them for 2 years or 50,000kms which ever comes first and then changing the tires to 195/60 R15 and Lenzo 15in alloys? But currently my ride looks a bit bald without alloys.[sad]

if you get good price now then sell them off and get 15".
Tires are almost 1000kms old i don't think i will get good price. Tire dealers will quote scrap prices for my current Bridgestone tires. I am already almost broken after such extensive modifications so can't spend on something at substantial loss.[frustration]

Try to sell them as used tires in any online portal. It may fetch you more money. But dont expect more than 1-1.25K per tyre(max).

I tried and the tire shop owner quoted a price of 1k/tire. New tires would cost 3k/tire and that's 2k less per tire for almost brand new tire. New 195/60 R15 would cost 5.5k per tire and i think it's totally impractical to go for a tire change.

If your 14" Neo wheels are compatible with present set of tyres, go for them. Maybe 1-2 year down the line for for tyre change when these are worn off.

Cheers,

My current tires will cost 3k/tire when new and it's just 1000km old and he is quoting only 1k/tire which is very low. I think best option is to wait for 2yrs and then change the tires to 195/60 R15 and 15in Lenzo alloys. What do you think?

I don't agree with you buddy i think sankar should get the 15" wheels be it today or tomorrow, why waste money on upgade.
But Vivek selling 15k worth tires for 5k and then buying tires worth 28k will be substantial loss to me. What do you think? Don't you think i should wait for couple of years and then buy 15in alloys and tires?

@Vivek and Anshuman,

How about buying a second hand alloys for now and then upgrading to 15in tires and alloys couple of years later? How much will a second hand alloys cost?

Hi Guys,

Need your help on something. I am planning to buy second hand 14in alloys. I don't want to invest in a new 14in alloys now as i am planning to upgrade to 15in alloys once my current stock 14in tires give up (Read 50k in 2yrs). So how much will a used alloys cost? What are the issues with buying a second hand alloys?

Some of the things to check out is if the alloys have any bend? Second would be to check if the brand seller says is genuine or not.

I need all your help on this. :please:

Regards,
Sankar
