Accessories For Maruti Suzuki Dzire Tour LDi

That was a wise decision going for DZire Tour instead of the sub 4mtr DZire. But it is a news for me that the tour is available with white plates too, because one of my colleague wanted this car but the showroom guys refused him to give the car with white plates. Also do we have any other color option other than White? Also can we get rpm meter like the one from V*i/Z*i version in L*i?

i dont think we can get the RPM meter in Lx/d i model , because the wiring must be different. and i think dzire tour comes only in white.

I just confirmed that it is indeed the right side strip for old model. New DZire's side beeding is wider and has a new font letters "DZire" near the front side (as per the accessory expert and my observation).

About the wheel cap, I could have never noticed. I will not scratch my head on that for some time. I should be able to change to alloy wheels after some time.

Which HU are you using? How does it sound?

I had the same experience from one of the oldest and most popular dealership in Trivandrum. As we have another 3 dealerships in Trivandrum for Maruti Suzuki (Cheers to Maruti for such competition ) we contacted the other 3 dealerships and they readily agreed to give me Dzire Tour with Private registration. Why don't you ask your friend to check out other dealerships in his city?

No you only have the option of Arctic White on Dzire Tour. I am checking out with accessories guy on Tachometer fitment on Dzire Tour. If it's possible i shall definitly go for Dzire VDi Speedo console.

You are spot on in answering gears1313's queries. Wirind would certainly be different but i don't thing it's impossible to fit old Dzire VDi's speedo console in Dzire Tour. Need to check this out and i am contacting the aceessories guy today for this.

I beg to differ; no offense meant. I know a guy who has additionally fitted RPM meter; I will try to get pictures and more details.

About the colors; it is mostly white if you book one car. If you have a bulk order they give option of Shining-Silver and Mid-night black. Just a thought, if any taxi operators want more cars, you can book one along with them; in contrary, why would they need non-white and help you at the same time. This information is in company brosure; you may collect one at nearest show-room.

I am sure that the side beeding is certainly not from New DZire because of the letters and width. The one from Gen 1 original looks some what similar to mine but mine appears to be getting leaner towards the front. At least it was in MGA package when I saw it.

Head Unit is panasonic and is a basic model with USB; the dealer offered me to have HU and stickering (old type) for 15 K INR.

A colleague of mine has old model Dzire VDi with identical side beeding and he confirmed it's an MGA side beeding. Your's is MGA side beeding for sure but it's for the new Swift Dzire which i suspect costs 1K right? The old Dzire side beeding costs 1.5K. The side beeding which gets leaner towards the front is actually the side beeding of New Dzire. But it's reallt such a small thing.

Haedlights for Maruti Suzuki Dzire Tour

Hi,

I am looking for a headlight setup for my upcoming Maruti Suzuki Dzire Tour LDi (Basically the old Dzire LDi). In Kerala most such headlight assemblies are done using Chinese or Taiwan made HID and projectors which i am not interested. I am looking for headlight assembly which has products which come with warranty like Philips, Hella etc.



I am looking for this design which also has integrated DRL. Could someone help me out with this? My budget for twin headlights is 20-25K

@ Sankar, I will check for the chrome things which we discussed, I will PM you if I get them. Also please get the wheels painted black. I saw few tours who fitted wheel caps with silver background, they look shoddy. Please use Ritz 2012 MGA type wheel caps, they look good in Tour model.
