Bangalore,
I had checked out few options in accessory shops at Coimbatore & found the price was higher side (upto Rs.2000), when it was available online for as low as 800. So ordered mine from ebay yesterday. I haven't decided whether to do it myself or get it done from a accessory shop. Will decide after receiving shipment.

CAR Armrest Console Biege Colour Universal Size | eBay
I have seen this in a local accessories shop in Chennai, North Usman road. Looks similar to ebay one. They quoted Rs 1400 including fitting. I am sure he will come down to Rs 1200. I am planning to install it next week. So the price should not be more than Rs 1200 in Coimbatore also unless it was entirely different model/quality. As these shop keepers always quote higher, we need to bargain and knowing the appropriate price really helps in bargaining. I saw a Honda City owner fitting similar arm rest for whooping Rs 3500 in Tambaram !
Ranger, Sorry I have n't fixed arm rest in my Sparky. Hope other members will be able to help you. (may be it might be useful for me too)
Not received yet.
I May get on tomorrow.
Buddy you have to drill t fix that. I planning to do it this week.
Kalinga and Kinky, please let me know the effort in fixing the arm rest once you done fixing.

Sethu, now it gonna help you.

Koyas had one for Rs. 1200 - but the beige was too different from Ertiga's interior. But 2 other shops in which I checked quoted in the range for 2000 or more. Hence decided to check online prices and returned back home. This one I bought at ebay costs only around 800 and I confirmed with the seller through about color match with rest of the interiors. So, in case color is not matching I have option of sending it back to seller. Will keep this group updated once the product arrives.

In worst case, planning to fit it in our parents car (Spark), which has black interiors and after market beige color seat covers.

KALINGA - have you received your shipment? Any comments on the shade difference between arm rest and Ertiga interiors?
Got mine. My son tried to assemble the parts quickly and we tried it out. Though the color doesn't exactly match with seat covers and beige color on the doors, it is a decent match. Stitching quality is little loose at some places and I will be sharing photographs to the seller - to see if he agrees for replacement.

I took that photo as well.. but I guess accidentally deleted it and hence couldn't share. Will share by tomorrow with this group as well.

I will be doing installation only in the weekend & haven't decided whether to do it myself or take to an accessory shop because some drilling is required in the center console (in the plastic piece behind hand brake). However I will take photographs and post in the forum for benefit of everyone.

To all, does arm rest add any value in driving? Are you guys okay to drill some holes to get it fixed and also in emergency situation how you will engage hand brake?

I am also interested in installing the armrest.
Will be hugely comfortable during long highway drives.
I am waiting for the feedback of any of you who has installed or ordered it.
Kindly share pics too.[:)]
My only question is the pics showed in ebay are different than the one in the above pic of Dhana sir?

Arm rest can be fold upright, just like hand brake liver. so pull arm rest upwards 1st and then brake liver.

it increases little bit effort, but thing is in city you keep arm rest at upward position so now it is only hand brake.
in highways or during long journey use the arm rest for comfort.

Only disadvantage is we need to drill the central plastic to fit the ARM rest, so it is a trade off.
