The photos are posted in my earlier post. I personally don't think that the safety is compromised in any case for highway journeys I intend to use the rear only for luggage.

Hi.all i am back after long.enjoying my luv .now its 3months finished.nearing 5000 kms. I need suggestion from all youu guys. I wanna upgrade my headlight.really its very much disturbing in night times in highways .very dim and almost 90% highway drivers in our south india dont know how to use high beam and in which condition.i planned to upgrade.i just convey you all what i observed and what came in my mind with pros and cons
1.philips 100/90.-realy nice compared to 60/55 but maruthi show room now stopped this (as per in tamilnadu) because of recurrent bulb fues problem because it produces much heat and had to replace once in 10-15 days(as per showroom ppl)
2.sella /bosch-th best for my need.but i will looose guarentee for doom and llight ans wiring.and also as per experts it produces very much heat and doom and glass become fade and will not get effective bright in long run and need to change doom and glass later.and some ppl told it bean officially banned to use these kind of halogen lights and traffic police can fine you for tht(?i dont knw this is true)(as per showroom and some outside car show room ppl)
3.maruti now brought new kind of philips 60/55 bulbs for effective bright ,long visibility n better brightness.it costs 600 per bulb.mga telling that will be good but my doubt will i get effective visibility n brightness?
So guys pls help.let us get some good suggestion n experience

Those 65/55 bulbs producing extra light do come and you get it in market of philips and osram. Philips extreme vision and Osram night breaker plus. They do their job well compared to stock bulbs and produce more light but cant be compared to 90/100 with relay as they are in a different league all together. Than too you just checkout if the 60/55 with more light us sufficient for you than go with it as you willl not have to alter any wiring and just take out the old ones and put the new ones. And if you dont find that sufficient than go for 90/100 with relays and ceramic holders.

Hassan sir, I have upgraded the bulbs to 90/100 Philips with relay.
Now the lights are better than before and adequate on highways.
By the way, seems like you do many long drives, 5000kms in 3 months is fast!
Congrats![clap]

Without upgrade it is difficult to drive at night. I had upgraded mine to OSRAM 90/100 with Roots Relay & wiring kits. Only one problem I faced so far (20K kms) - one of the ceramic holders developed some issues (contact issues) and was replaced free of cost.

Bro
The relay and wiring kit + 2 bulbs should cost around 2000 bucks. If you are planning to replace insist on known brands like Roots, Hella etc for relay and wiring kit. Wrt bulbs Philips and Osram are most common. Please also double check if holders are ceramic (accessory shops try to push lesser known brands)

No problems sir. I did it outside sir. Costs 1500.
Yes sir, even though I have not covered many places and only 10500kms on the odo, the LUV is the best!

Yesterday my LUV hauled more than 500kg of mud (7 sacks) for plants along with 4 people also on board! Still didn't bottom out on any rough road and absolutely withstood all the weight smoothly!
100% reliability of the LUV!

yup.i liked LUV. i ddi many research before booked.many people in some car related website(i dont wnat mention here) and also automative india knw my research.i choosed LUV over duster and ecosport. and ths is my first car frm maruthi.some have false opinion.i just wanted a big car with stylish, not used by taxi people/politicians and value for money.LUV fits all eventough ertiga looks not impressive in front view.but side view is amazing.some people told not to go big car because we are only 2,but still i taken and using mainly as a 5 seater with big boot space.really comfort and style and economy(19.2 kmpl uptodate in petrol).but if automative climate control, reverse cam, driver arm rest, and horn extension to teering circle are thr it will be still comfortable for LUV owners. BEST vehicle

Bangalore,
Hi All, My LUV crossed 10k Km in less than 6months.
WP_20140301_001.jpg

small note: this car is awesome and very reliable, it feels as new as it was at day 1.
AC mount rattles are not noticeable now a days, engine feels more refined now.
Brakes are very confident.
Fun to drive.
FE is best in class, you will enjoy low running cost.

wish: Maruti should release official central armrest for LUV

Totally I'm happy LUVer, after all this time with LUV i left with no complains to make here.

Thank you all LUVer.
