Do not upgrade to 100Ws they are prone to extra heat.

Go for 55W 4300K HIDs for low beam. no drilling is required. Ballasts will come along with the kit.
Don't you have to drill the dust caps to pass wires? or the kit comes with replacement Dust caps/ some seals?

P.s
The perfect birthday gift for your Cheetah!

Got the car Spa Gift offer from Mahindra purple club. It Remains to be seen what service centers have decent enough staff for this type of job.
For Me that looks like another 100~200kms [frustration]

Hi!
Some where on this thread I noticed you saying about heat airflow from the lower ac vents.
Can you please tell me more about it?
I even had the same problem in my aria.

Yes,
The feet air vents are blowing Warm/ Un-cooled air whereas the face vents are cooling as usual. Mahindra chaps did'nt understand it either.

Today Morning, I noticed My Thunderbolt Broke Another Tile in the Parking Ground.[anger]
These Beasts are Heavy! Its Heavier than Fortuner and Safari, even though XUV is Smaller in outer dimensions. Show Good Quality used by Mahindra. Now Should I be Happy or sad?

This Last Pic is the Broken tile of Last year. And these tiles are Nothing Less than Full Solid Red GRANITE.

I agree granite is solid material but it requires support for rigidity, so I advice you use some black kadppa type tiles below granight then it'll not broken off. If you observed on kitchen floor this type of arregment is done if you are using granight.

Bang on! I Brought home a Mason, and he Suggested the Same. I will be using Thick (He recommends atleast 1.5 inch thick) Kaddapa instead of Grainite. The Tile was getting worse But I was able to safely move the Vehicle. [clap]

I finally got the Both Tiles replaced. The new tiles are twice as thick as old ones. As a result I asked the mason to Grind a Slope at the edges. This will ease the vehicle movement.

Perhaps they'll tolerate this beast a little better.

Its good for traffic signals.
but when moving in bumper to bumper traffic I prefer to keep my foot on the clutch so that it is not activated.
How do find the auto start stop system in traffic ?
the research from Europe says that it's actually detrimental in the long run. although it may momentarily increase fe, the extra wear on Battery, starter, engine, alternator was not worth it in 3to 5 years. also I hate to have my ac turned off in sweltering 46.c heats. Indian government does not even allow sun films.

Re: “Thunderbolt” XUV 5OO Detailed Review (Decals, Audio, LED, Mods++)

^^ Regarding stop-start I see it more as a convenience feature which has to be used with diligence (as Kinshuk was hinting) - ex:- a clutch is there to engage gears/transmission smoothly, if you misuse it it will give away and leave you stranded somewhere, use it with care and it will give you a long life! Similarly the stop-start when you used with diligence is a nice to have convenience feature - the problem sometimes is the lack of the human intellectual application over the feature.

isnt it the same if you manually crank the car the same number of times with a key - i mean the detrimental impact on battery ?
