IN EXTENDED WARRANTY,I THINK ONLY ENGINE,CHASSIS AND SUSPENSION ARE COVERED AFTER ALL BELOW EXEMPTIONS.
Hi Parth,
I checked with the sales person and she provided me with a pdf which has the parts which are included in the extended warranty. It consists of 36 parts and include parts like AC Compressor, Crankshaft, ABS module, Fuel Pump, Thermostat, Drive shaft, Head lamp and indicator switch etc. I will upload the pdf separately after again discussing this list with the dealer face to face. Looking at this list, I think extended warranty should be worth the price.

Re: My Hyundai Grand i10 Asta (O) Petrol Ownership Review

Sorry forgot the dealer. I bought it from blue hyundai Basvangudi, would surely avoid them. You have only four dealers and they are equally bad one or the other way. Two of them are known quantities (Advaith,Trident) and other two unknown (blue, lakshmi (never heard of them)).
Want more choices try Maruti !. I some times wonder why automobile companies crib about having low sales when they are represented by bad dealers and indulge in total ripoff.
I am buying from Trident and my sales person behaved in a very professional manner (Not sure if she will continue this way after the car delivery [;)]) She even told me I can go with outside insurance if I want but then I have to handle the insurance process myself. My brother had done the same for his car and he had a very bad experience. So, I am not going with outside insurance. But yes charging 1000 for accessories, insurance commission etc are the item where one should be very careful and negotiate from the beginning. This is my first car and I have learnt my lesson.[:D].

Total rip off= 23k average, you cannot avoid it but can lessen it. If he pressurizes you , you can complain to hyundai. (This is one of the questions asked by hyundai CRM ppl on buying experience (yeah after getting ripped off)).
Completely agree with you. New buyers please take note of such things and you can save yourself a good amount which you can spend in other accessories like seat covers etc.

Let us explain the steps, so that we can also do it for our cars. This MID is nothing but a joke.

Re: My Hyundai Grand i10 Asta (O) Petrol Ownership Review

my car is nearing 5000 km, is it necessary to check wheel alignment and balancing.
Its not mandatory, but would be good if you check (both) wheel balancing & alignment. At 5000km its not needed. If RS: 750-1000/- doesn't matter try it out.
Within a day or two my ODO will be 5000 km, The owners manual recommends to change oil & filter every 5000 km. can any one recommend me which brand oil (mineral) {15w-40}should i go for. I'll be doing oil change by my self.
