Well, I personally am not fond of those plans. Especially since I download a lot, 8gb will get over soon. So that means, within 5 or 10 days of the month start. I will be browsing at 256 kbps. [frustration]
My cousin has 750 Unlimited 512 kbps plan in his house & at times I feel that its slow. So can't think of 256 kpbs. [confused]
Same here. My billing period is 26th to 25th. By 5th or 6th max my FUP will get over and I will be back to 256kbps. You cant even watch small clip in youtube.

Need to check out for different service provider for Broad band alone.

Re: Feedback and Suggestions for NGTAI

I just checked net speeds and it shows like this

Download Speed : 352 kbps (44 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed : 472 kbps (59 KB/sec transfer rate)

So how this should be read now good or bad or I need to upgrade my package or it is a temporary issue from the operator

Re: Feedback and Suggestions for NGTAI

Its certainly very slow if they assured you 2mbps.
It is upto 2mbps and not even reaches 500kbs, so even my internet plan is also speed of 2mbps BSNL 500 combo i will get 2gb free data and unlimited between these time 2am-8am.

They planned it very nicely who will be awake at that time, also i get a discount [:)] of 10% as a govt employee since the phone is in the name of my dad. Plus 180 free calls. NO rental charges.

Here.
MTNL 2mbps with 10GB FUP, 512kbps after the limit. Gets disconnected on phone calls, which is quite disturbing if you're in an online game or you're hosting that game! [frustration] But good part is when it works. MTNL surely doesn't know how to limit the speed and I have got more speed than I should multiple times. Got 500KBPS+ 2-3 times, 300KBPS many times and get around 200 usually. Customer service is a PITA though.

This + Some free phone calls cost around 1k.

.
Sorry for going Off topic:
Check with a new Splitter(which splits line to data/voice). Check for the line disturbance. It happens most of the time if you have a faulty splitter which is not doing its job !
