If BSNL is bothering you so much, go for any 3g connection using a USB dongle. You can even try TIKONA broadband. They have wireless connection. And speed is decent as well.

I didnt seen any connection between hathway and bsnl landline
Hathway is cable based (consult your local cable tv operator or hathway helpdesk
Hathway doesn't rely on telephone connection

I am using BSNL 512 Kbps unlimited plan since the last 3 years.Its been very good for me,though I had to change the modem 2 times in this time.But the speed is very good.
I changed my plan to BSNL 650 + taxes Combo plan. I get some 100 or 150 free local calls along with 2.5 GB Internet with night unlimited from 2am-8am.

I was using BSNL broadband for past 3 years. Plan was 750 Rs / month with speed of 256 KPBS. Never faced any issues with them in all 3 years. Once there was a wire cut during road widening & no connectivity for almost 10 days but BSNL discounted 50 % rental from that month bill.
Overall I was very happy with them.
Recently I shifted to new place where BSNL line is yet to come.
So I have switched to JOISTER. They have a tie up with our Society.
I got the connection at Rs 1700 for 3 months with a speed of 512 KPBS. Usage is unlimited.
Its just 2 weeks I am using it but till now (touchwood) all is good.

The Airtel again increased their rental plan ! They have reduced to 256kbps after the quota of 30GB ! i think I will go for ACT broadband. Their customer service is useless it seems (in BTM area)
Something has to be done immediately. 100RS more and reducing the speed is not acceptable. !

. 15Mbps for 899/- . Fair Usage Policy would be applicable in all plans (it is the rule, so every provider has to implement.)
Reliance is known for their very bad service especially in Bangalore !

Thanks, I checked the Reliance website now & saw their plans. They have got excellent plans. They even have 1mbps UL for 549.

Upgraded to airtel 4mbps till 15gb for 1199rupees. (1340 after tax)
