Great mods done Nuthan..
As Vinu said, be careful with the electrics and do alterations from a trused guy only.

And, in your last post, please give the full form of the words ODM, DDAS, DTE. I didn't understand anything!!

ODM omometer reading(
DDAS digital drive assist system(in this the average fuel efficience shows depends on the driving but the actual figure is from reserve to reserve readings )
DTE distance to empty (when we fill for 1000rs we will get 19.48lts and this meter shows 465kms for the filled 19.48lts) but it wont .and you will get that in higways but when you are in city roads you will get around 350kms-380kms for 19.48lts)

hope you got my point

what is that mp5 player ?
mp5 is a format like mp3

guys now in need of small information
actually i have added that reverse camera with a 7 inch screen and in that
the dealer told me that every thing will be included with bluetooth, fm radio sensor and also cam

but in that the sensor was not included and my dad wants the sensor
with that camera so that should dispay the distance also.

Is there any way to fix the sensor with out altering the reverse camera one? and also just to fix for the same monitor ?

Hi Nuthan, that was a nice ownership of your Quanto and your's is the first one in TAI [clap]. You have shared the pictures in detail thanks for that too.

We are planning for the Quanto, same like yours and same C6 variant only, i just wanted to seek some clarification from owner point of view.

- My dad's height comes to 5'6 or so, when he took a TD at India Garage in St.Marks Road, he found it difficult to drive, so my question is, as a owner, do you find if this vehicle will be okay for him to drive if owned?

- We are owning a diesel vehicle for the first time in life and costly(for us it is) one too. So is it okay from Maintenance part of view?

- We should meet sometime, how about a Bangalore meet?

Edit, please post some pics of your car with the bull bar, seems good from the previous photo.

Hi Nuthan,
I booked Quanto C8 and will be receiving it in few days time. Could you let me know if you went for under chassis coating and teflon coating? If so, what price you paid?

since you stay in bangalore which is not a coastal city , you can avoid both under chassis coating and teflon.

there is no teflon coating done. it is just wax polish named teflon similar to xerox copy.

it is just a copier not a xerox copier.

Underbody coating is a good idea, since you do get a lot of rain.Get the 3M coating done with the 5 year warranty. It is much more economical and they inspect it every 6 months.I think for the Quanto it should be around 4.5k.

Teflon is just a gimmick.Instead buy some waxpol car wax and wax your car yourself every month.

No buddy we haven't decided fully on the car yet, we are buying a car which suits us only in June

My dad has 10+ years of driving experience, but the real problem where it lies is his age, he is 50 and feels bit scared of driving big cars(maybe he got used to drive the Alto which is smaller and easier to drive).

The seat height adjustment did not help him in anyway when he test drove the storme.

Oh okay point taken, yes we have to know lot about maintaining a diesel car.

can be after 15Jan buddy
No worries.

@Vishwas:Coming from a low seating car like the Alto, the Quanto feels a bit awkward. I had he same problem, so did my dad.The driving position is high.

It does provide good road presence and good view of the road.

You do get adjusted to driving the car after a bit of time.

Since it was not available in petrol, we went with the Ertiga. It is a bit lower than the Quanto.

Any car that is higher will pose a problem. It will take time to get used to.So get one you are comfortable overall with and enjoy it.

dude i guess you are the one who are asking for the this in facebook mahindra quanto page.?
well dude if you are staying in costal region then for it else spend the same amount for other accessories,

as per my knowledge just complete 3500kms and the vehicle have gone for hornadu trip so i guess may be next week we will be giving to service so will give you the complete details about the 1st service

cause for us the scorpio was taking 2rs/km in service (hope you understand this )

and in that cause i dont think so your dad faces problem yes even my dad is also of 50 years now still he only drives the vehicles when we go for long trips

thats cool then plan well and purchase the vehicle y we went for this one means we had our grandpa in our mind as he was of age 76 so the hatchback/seden will give him a problem to sit for a long time and also his knees wil be pain

boss how can you say that the vehicle is awkward ?from small vehicles to big vehicles?
and yes mahindra wont leave petrol vehicles(like honda concepts they never released any diesel model but heard they are now )

to be frank their is no difference of height between eritiga and ritz they are same in height may be length wise different

can i know one thing does the road is visible from front while you are driving in ertiga or ritz ??? if so please let me know
and all the 4w vehicles are through experince and the idea

well even me to use to drive santro and maruti omini then only stated scorpio
in that time i use to feel difficult in the starting days cause those vehicles like small now powerstearing ,and all after few day i got adjusted .
