Interior pictures. European spec. I don't think we will be getting SatNav or Steering Wheel controls on the base model.

VW management must be mighty confused. Since they are making a serious entry on a mass scale - they must be wondering

1. Give a crappy engine first (1.2l 70 ps) - loose the First impression
2. Give a good engine (1.2TSI-105ps) - Price increases and they will be Jazzed

Catch-22 situation

Well, the door handles in black on the red model.
Door handles matching the silver in the silver model.
Looks like different variants. Nice to see these pictures of Indian Polo (not they Spy Pics). thanks!
Any idea on the engine? [surprise] Any surprises for us?

Polo Production starts today i.e. December 12th. Its a huge plant in Pune. Does it need 4 months to give delivery of sufficient Polo's for first set of customers?

Anyways, Jan 5th Auto Expo should give clearer answers.

Any guesses about 1.2L TSI coming in March? Or Insider info?

Hey maverick,
Welcome to The Automotive India, No information on engine yet. Will post it here if something gets in our hands.

The Polo was looking good in official pictures by Volkswagen but in these actual Indian Spec. images, Things seems to be different, No frills and curves outside, The car looks somewhat plain. VW should price it competitively. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Welcome aboard maverick. You seem to be a polo fan. Polo should be priced less than Jazz Atleast to be a hit. Everybody saw how Jazz couldnt sell much due to its uneven pricing as compared to its competitiors.

Well, my first car was an Automatic Honda Civic in USA. My neighbor has a black VW Jetta there. I was maha happy with his car. I find Jetta in India to be too expensive. (Just for the excise duty). So i am eyeing the Polo.

Price: Ready to pay 7-8 Lacs
Engine: Better be 1.2l TSI
Rest: Have configured the one in UK website.

So, if things dont fall in place on Jan 5th, i need a car immediately. Already postponed the buying of the car for some time now. I will go back to the good old HONDA. But this time, it will be the City and not the Civic.
