I have ES - TDCI and Alto LXI.

I can confirm on Alto immediately though not sure about ES. I need some more time to confirm if I can bring in ES as there are other plans for it. Also, I am not confident to take ES to long distance as Pune as Engine has not run in completely.

Alto - My vehicle gives a mileage of 15 kmpl in city and should give 18-19 in highways. Ride is also comfortable as roads are smooth throughout.

If we have more sedan/SUVs available at Bangalore for Pune, then we go to Bangalore in Alto and from there on we can share the Sedan/SUV or am ready to Pune with Alto [:)].

Thats is great. In that we can even go by my sparky (if you dont mind) even upto Pune. But it would be cheap to go by diesel car than petrol. So let us wait for some time. or in worst case we can even take the train to Bangalore.

My 2 cents :
Till Bangalore, it doesn't make much a difference (petrol vs diesel) assuming a mileage of 18kmpl. It comes to Rs 400 overall that can be shared.

Anyways, as you say, we will wait or take the train.

TAI-gers please suggest good hotel or guest house. It should be decent budget , clean and safe place.

Most important it should be in nearby area from the VW factory premises.

Chennai Guys started discussing about VW plant visit. Most probably we take two cars(Jetta,Vista). As of now, nothing is confirmed.

@ AppU : There are only 2 name in the list from Chennai. If there are more people from Chennai please do inform them to show their presence on the thread at least tentatively. In fact i just saw even your name is not there on the list. Whether we ( Tentative ) can make it or not will be clear in the future but at least the tentative presence will help other members also come forward.

Chennai guys are mostly Inactive in TAI and they are not aware of the VW plant visit.

After seeing the status in FB only, some guys came to know it. Other guys came to know during the chat, today in watsapp.

So, we have to discuss more on this. So far, Dhaya and Myself are Tentative. Still the discussion is going on. Will let you know, once I get more info.
