I don't know if it's the camera but your hids look somewhat green. I guess you brought 6000k which should look like your basement tube lights (white ) and not green.
All they did was fabricate an 8 inch by 1.5inch Iron plate. drilled 2 holes in it on either side. Drilled one hole in the Crossmember right behind the grill bolted the iron strip to the cross member and bolted the Hella Light on the other side.
Wanted to know more about the drill process on Cross-member. Is the drilling required or is there any hole/bolt already available which can be utilized ?

the hid fogs are no name h8 standard 35w.
output is 5000k which means pure white without any hint of blue or yellow. although I would've loved 4300k which is off white.
output is awesome and you don't need main headlights at lower speeds (upto 40kmph). there's not much glare for oncomer.

Good find bhvm.. on seeing your message i thought it could be a problem with my mobile camera white balance as it is set to Auto mode. But seeing at the greenish tint then realized the reason due to 3M CR-70 sunfilm on the windshield. Now taken the pic again from out of the car, you can notice the difference
Wow !
Could you please share more pictures of inner area where you have mounted / welded the clamps ?
Do you have a toggle switch for Hella's or does it turn on all the time with High Beam ?Looks good.. Any WIP pictures ?
I have only welded the mounting clamps of the lamp, the inner area is bolted similarly how Kinshuk has done but instead I have used an oval shaped iron bar as the Hella 3003 are heavy and big so as to avoid any shake.
Well sorry I dont have any work in progress pictures. The lamps are connected in parallel to my high beams so no toggle switch. This was to avoid any drill in my dashboard for an additional switch !

There is no problem till now. I too dont see any cops starring at these lights. The lights have a slight bluish line at the border, other than that it looks bright white.
I think Since it is on projector it may look like OEM lights. As some car like range rovers has pure white LED lights and same whitish color with BMW rings as well. And the white LEDs in XUV compliment the HID to look more like factory fitted So mostly cops may think it is normal.
@Ruchit Nice AUX Headlamps , I've been planning to get soem lights too, was thinking to go for the LightForce 240 Blitz; so while you shortlisted your rallye 3003 hella , did you do some finding about light force lights too ? I just wanted to know if they would be compatible

Yes of course they are compatible but the Blitz 240 was a little bigger than my choice, so went ahead with the Hella's. Also I wasn't sure with the beam pattern of the Blitz's whereas the beam pattern of 3003 is "driving" and it completely blends with the vehicle's high beam.
