There are very small lanes called as roads in Pune. If by some means you come towards Hadapsar on NH9, you will find how the road is squeezed between autos and parking which makes space for only one vehicle to pass.

I fully agree to the nonsense attitude of bilkers and car drivers as well. In all other cities autos make line by standing one behind other, in pune you will find them standing one beside other, just blocking one and half on the width of road.

To make this worse their are lakhs of new vehicles plying on the roads month on month. The reason behind this is worst public transport system and lack of car pooling.
God save us !!

in the 90's when I spent a few years in the city, there was a conspiracy theory that the public transport system was kept bad purposefully! Interestingly it was to do with the automobile industry. See discussion below.

After going through your link i feel that public transport in Pune will never ever get improved. So whats next, the time has came to teach our next generation about how to drive (?) on whatever space is "left".

In many cities in usa, around 1980s the carmakers like GM adopted the public bus transport companies as a form of good will gesture, but they actually made services bad and people were sold many cars during this time.

Seems like this is a kind of road rage. He doesn't allow anyone to overtake him and constantly brakes to bully with one behind him. Secondly, there was a jeep running in right lane and showing left indicator. Is he indicating that everyone from behind should overtake him from left?
I don't understand why these guys don't stick to left itself. Secondly the clip also shows the wonders on our highways.. the "speed breakers"

If you notice, on 00:48, he was overtaking a car from its left side. Conveniently edited, but not enough.

But his last point was valid, if I was a girl I would outright refuse to ride with any idiot who hoons his motorbike like that.

Today being Independence day & a holiday including previous two days,the roads were very calm in the morning. But what i saw today & missing an accident by inches was pure baffling.

As i pull a right on a junction in my car,i notice a two wheeler come straight into me from a side road. Two teenage guys(no helmets) with the rider turning back & talking to the passenger with full laughter while going past a junction with vehicles crossing . He takes no evasive action as he crosses the junction blind looking backwards at the passengers face.
