One more thing which happens is - Steal Bike cleaning cloth (in any condition it can be) form a parked bike & use it for perosnal use. Till date I have changed atleast 6 different cloths for cleaning my bike. There is no secured place in bikes where you can keep your cloth. One has to kep it between the front light console & meter console.
I hate such people [cry]

We have seen lorries without tail & brake lights, we have seen trucks with broken tail / brake lights but for the first time iam seeing a truck with both the rear lights covered with opaque polythene bag secured with ties. [surprise] [confused] probably to protect the unit from dust and grime.
and another moron without the rear mudguard. driving behind him in heavy rain had all the mud on my windscreen [frustration]
Not to mention the lorry in the 1st pic has no bull bar which has been made mandatory now.

Really? What's the purpose of this law though? I don't imagine a bull bar would help much if someone were to be hit by a lorry.

It's a bit ironic that the police doesn't give a damn about heavy vehicles driving without headlights, indicators, brake and tail lights but suddenly thinks they have the capability to enforce bull bars.

Bro, i think he meant under ride guard which are installed at the rear. If a car rear ends a lorry, this underride guard will prevent the car to slide under the lorry. Without these under ride guards small vehicles like car will simply slide under the lorry and damage will be severe.

every day you will find all kinds of "people" clutching mobile phones to their ears & driving & talking on phones & causing problems for others & themselves on roads even well dressed people driving expensive cars out of posh residential areas do this.

This incident yesterday below is by far one of the most horrific incidents I have read/heard of as a result of mobile phone use while driving.

Bus reduced to a mangled heap

Such news articles copies should be distributed with every new vehicle & mobile phone sold.

I came across that article in the paper this morning, you're right it's quite horrific!

Absolutely appalling that people have so little care for their own and others' lives, especially considering that (In Delhi at least) school buses are the worst driven vehicles on the road - literally worse than drunk drivers!

Don't these drivers feel any responsibility to protect the children they are entrusted with?

Not to mention I haven't come across a single school bus with seat belts fitted, not to mention enforced.

very sad incident. so many kids losing their lives for no fault of theirs. i was shocked on hearing the news. there are no guidelines for appointing school bus drivers. in payangadi i see teenagers as school bus drivers. they are often seen speeding on the narrow roads.

I have mostly seen Tempo-Travellers converted into school buses are driven very rash, especially in morning hours. Once i was following one school bus and saw that he driven on two intersections without pressing brakes (means tail lights didnt illuminated) or else his brake lights must not be working

Secondly, i dont understand how could vehicles like Omni are been converted for authorised school transport [confused]

Yes ,abroad if a school bus or any driver drove rash with kids onboard it would be national news.

I was once finished an early morning breakfast with my friend &driving on to the road when an Omni with full of kids doing easy 70 to 80 blasts past my car missing alot of morning walkers with full throttle till the end of the the road. Also had illegal tints.
Later i regretted not noting down the car number to lodge a complaint.
