When we open the bonnet, can we see the ground in Zest ?
There is no under body protection? I had checked the Baleno and it too does not have that protection.

My simple question is - this should create a problem with all kinds of stuff getting an easy access to the bonnet. Or am I incorrect ?

Got HIDs in the low beam projectors. 4300K 35W UGlare HID kits,
Ballast is UGlare and bulbs are from supervision.

thanks to BHVM for the review of the product
Congrats Shibu on the new updates. How much did it cost for you? Were you able to check with the dealer if this upgrade affects your warranty?

Most important, how is the new night time driving experience?

how much is the improvement compared to stock halogen bulbs?

only the brightness improved or the width improved as well?

i went for a short spin. i set a point lower on the headlight adjustment knob. Low beams are just enough. the high beams look very dull now. stock fog lamps are 19W, now these cant be seen atall! lights are bright+long!
thinking of getting another set for fogs with 55w ballast and swap with low beam. i thing my fogs need relay setup to match the wattage.
H16 bulb is same as H8/H11 where as H16 is 19w , H8 is 35w and H11 is 55w. the fog lamp holder is same across nano genx, bolt and zest.

HIDs + the corrona rings are matching perfect and look upmarket

mate if your fogs are only 19w are you sure the reflectors and wiring will survive the heat of 55w?

I'll suggest you go for 35w MAX. also, due to softer cutoffs the fogs will send more glare when upgraded to HID BULBS. and with 55w HID it will be like hell unleashed on oncomers!

my i10 had 27w bulbs by factory and when upgraded to 35w hid, the lenses are considerably hot to touch. I'm satisfied I didn't get a 55w kit.

19w halogen- 380 lumens (night lamp )
55w halogen- 1000 lumens.

35w hid- 3200 lumens
55w hid- 4000 lumens.

Ill buy 55W hit. Swap my low beam ballast with this and put 35w ballast to fogs.
I may need a relay setup for HIDs in fogs
wont that be too hot for Fog lamps. And after constant usage wont it crack the lens since fog lamps are vulnerable for water being splashed? just a query.

Also think that over the peroid of time of using high intensity and hot bulbs the lens becomes blur and milky?

Congo, saishibu,
You said, you are addicted to Rapid MT /AT.
So can you give brief comparo between Rapid AT & Zest AMT.

I too own a Skoda Rapid DSG AT Diesel & have started a ownership thread.
