Re: The Mighty Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Drives In [11K Kms Crossed]

On a separate note, I upgraded the Mitsu headlamps, I recently picked up the highest lumen Sylvania lamps from the US, replaced the bulbs and the difference is very apparent. HIDs were an option, but i ain't jumping to that bandwagon as yet.
How much is the watts? Any change in wiring or just lamps changed?
Also bought a tow rope rated at 7 tons, this one is looped at the ends and has no metal hook whatsoever - that's what i was looking for,
Next accessory will be a high lift jack [:)]

Now gradually we await Extended Diff Breathers, Long Range Fuel Tanks, LED Driving Lights and Light Bars, Rock Sliders [:D].
I always eagerly await for mods planned & executed by you.

No change in wattage and wiring, it was a straight fit , simple plug and play. I was simply looking for a more effective solution without going the HID route and this was the best i could find.

Off-course one needs to remember as the lumen gets better the life is lower. Life is all about tradeoffs.

I took a chance based on manufacturer's claims.

Ha ha i am not a big modder to be honest, all my cars largely remain stock. But you are right some deserve modding more than others, slow but steady. My principle is to do something that will not harm its behavior on road or FE or long term life( Hows that even sane ! ) - hence need to be careful.

There is separate plan to create something for offroading grounds up - but hopefully that project will see the light of the day within the next 6 months.

Thanks IR. My requirement was SUV for bad roads, cool factor , 6/7 seater. My budget was pushing me for a XUV W8 (and possibly 4WD). I test drove and almost booked. I looked at Fortuner, but somehow didnot like it. A friend of mine did the TD for PS and loved it. So I got convinced to TD PS and once I saw and drove, just booked on the spot.
Coincidentally, my friend also booked the Blue one.

For PS- I will need a loan, so that part is in progress. Hopefully Friday or Sunday I will get it. I am more of a reader than a writer, but since I got so much information from these threads, kind of my duty to contribute back!

I saw a black one on Wind Tunnel Road today wondering if that was one of you.
I am new to forum, not sure what the etiquette is about posting price. BTW, I got the Anniversary Edition as I wanted black and did not like the 2Tone.
I did get the MID (22K) and dealer is throwing in then Teflon and Mats etc. My friend negotiated the price and I am getting the same deal.

What kind of accessories? I have never added anything on my cars ever, so I am clueless. Also, I am traveling to US soon, is there something small worth getting?

Chetak's registration number ends with 4907 and I usually do not frequent the area you mentioned. I stay at Basaveshwaranagar.

You can very well post the price break up and the discounts you received openly on the forum.

While there is not much to get for the Pajero Sport from the US (Since it doesn't sell there), if you are staying there for a couple of weeks, there is interesting stuff that can be bought. Let me know your duration of stay and I will pull up a list of small yet useful things that can be ordered online and brought back to India.

Guys can you share the accessories and price details ?
For now, we are looking at the C-Track front nudge guard with DRLs whose model number is Z-700A. I will keep this thread updated on the developments.

I saw one black in my office as well today [:)]

Regading US- Stay is not an issue, I can get it delivered to someone and pick up either this time or next time.
Where are you planning to buy accessories from?

Latest snap of my PS.
Nice.
I feel that the white fender mirror makes it look a bit loud, but nevertheless, to each, his own.

What make is the nudge guard and how much did it cost you?

Also, your vehicle has Geolandars in it. Were they factory fitment or did you swap them?

The mirror may be looking a bit loud in the snap owing to the light condition. But it definitely looks cool when u see it live.
Nudge guards I got from the showroom source. Pricing is around 20K for both front and rear.
Geolanders were swapped with the Apollo H/T factory fitment.
