Jopasu Duster finally reached me yesterday which took a week because of holidays.

It is really amazing and I'm impressed. It picks all the above surface dust without making a single scratch.

Like what you do, I did the same. Clean all the dust using Jopasu then use RAW+MF. No worries of making scratches when using RAW+MF since there will be only mud stains and no above surface dust.

Before, the MF cloth used to get very dirty and I'ed require another fresh cloth or two. Later it was difficult to wash the dirty MF cloths.

Now when taking the car out, I'll use Jopasu Duster rather then RAW which saves my time and my dress won't get dirty either.

Thanks...
Best Regards

Thats the beauty of this community!

lol! Did not get it!!

I had gone for Anti-rust underbody coating during the first service. I was against it knowing that it is nothing more than a gimmick but my father who had taken the car for servicing got it done. I don't remember the exact cost but I think it was something about 7000 INR. There is no 3M here, neither in Kanpur , Lucknow or Allahabad. The nearest is Noida which is quite far. I had wished to go for 3M Anti-rust treatment and PPF but no 3M for me!!

The low ground clearance was a big issue for us during the decision process and that is why we were looking for a SUV or any sedan with good clearance. The City's GC is even less than my Matiz's! But no problem passing over speedbreakers. So far, haven't scrapped him a single time on any speedbreaker but scraped three times on very bad roads.

Coudn't get the anti-rust treatment from 3M but got underbody-coating during the first service. No 3M where I live, not even in the nearby cities!

No doubt you spend a lot of time detailing the car. A reason why your car looks absolutely majestic in that shade in the pics! [clap]
Thanks Bro! I love detailing since i was like 8-9 years old.
Simple steps to maintain your car in top shape:
1. wash your car regularly- at least once a week. If you have hard water problems. wash your car in 18-20 days.
2. Apply wax or polish to your car every 3 months. Helps maintain that gloss and shine. That's the reason why my 9 year old Indigo still looks fantastic in Silver colour. Btw she will turn 9 tomorrow.

Be-lated happy birthday to the lovely Indigo! Sorry, I forgot to open this thread and so could not reply, saw your reply today itself.

Most of the owners of 2014 City must be aware of a Keyring that Honda has been gifting to City owners. However, my keyring never reached me. Read a post by another owner on a sister forum and how he found out that his purchase wasn't recorded in the database. Decided to drop a e-mail to customer relations.

Am not quoting the exact mail (If needed, will quote it). I just simply told that I am a owner of a 2014 City and if the keyring had been sent to me and was returned by the Courier service. This mail was dropped on 3rd October. Got a reply that the person was out of office. Days went by and I even forgot that I had ever sent a mail to Honda, then on 21st got a mail asking for the postal address to send the gift package. I sent the postal address (on 23rd OCt) and along with it also asked why the gift was not sent earlier, if it was due to heavy demand of City? Again, after many days, on 27th got a mail that the gift has been couriered but no answer to my questions! Got the gift on 29th October.[:)]

So, how has been your experience with Jopasu Duster?
Saved plenty of water. I did not washed my car after I bought the duster. I do rinse-less weekly but still the car will be clean.

Duster is 80% dirty now but still works fine.

I read about washing it but many suggested not to since it stops picking dust. If it gets too dirty, I will have to wash with plain cold water and let it dry. Otherwise I'm afraid it will scratch the car when its too dirty.

Went on a 500 kms (approx) round trip this saturaday on a marriage to Lakhimpur Kheri on my Crusader ( A White VMT Petrol). Most of the drive was on good four lane highways. Since I had a sprain in my ankle, my father and sister drove most of the time. They managed to touch 150kmph thrice. On asking my father about the stability up there, he told that the steering, though weighs up, remains light and a firm hand is needed but nothing very alarming or scary. Since, most of the drive was above 120kmph, and about 25 kms in city as well, got a mileage of 13.8kmpl as per the MID. The performance of the engine is absolutely delightful and everyone who gets to sit behind the wheel abstemiously enjoys the magical I-Vtec!! [:)]

Folks,
A bad news! My City got rear-ended yesterday and its pretty bad! he car was being driven my by father and my mother was the co-passenger. They were out of town, had gone to attend a anniversary and this happened while returning on the highway! Don't know exactly what happened, will update when they return home today. No injuries as both were wearing seat belts. The car is currently at the workshop.

Rollerdude, what about the car? Please kindly update about it.Thank God for giving your father and mother from the accident without any injuries.
Thannk you Mr. Hari. I greatly thankful to god that nothing major or any injuries happened except for the car! Sorry for the delay, thepictures were not uploading, it kept on saying that photos are of more than 1mb in size and so had to upload each one seperatley.

So here's now what happened,
( To just see the pics, please scroll down the text.)
Four cars were going in a row - an i10, another i10, our City and a Scorpio with a bullbar bearing a Samajwadi Party Flag. Actually, the first two i10 and our City should be considered as going along and the Scorpio was overtaken by my father quite a while ago and relatively the scorpio was at a greater distance than these three cars among themselves. Also, the highway as smooth tarmac with sparse traffic. What happened that the first i10 driver noticed a air-pumping shop on the left and without giving a damn about cars behind him and without considering that he is driving on the fast lane braked hard to stop in time to get to the shop. The i10 behind him braked safely and our city stopped safely, it was going at about 95-100kmph at the moment. The Scorpio guy, maybe talking to his co-passenger or what, could not notice the action ahead and brake in time and slammed the rear of the city and then maybe in panic again slammed it! [frustration] The braking impact and then the slamming impact both were of great magnitude and seat belts did a good job in keeping my father and mother absolutely safe. As a result of his slamming our City, the city collided with the i10 ahead.
After the all the action, everyone got on the i10 driver except the scorpio guy who just waited for about 5 minutes and fled away. My parents not knowing what to do, with the second i10 driver went to talk with the first i10 driver. He compensated the second i10 with rs 3000 but started saying that that we should get our compensation from the scorpio guy as he had rear-ended us. In the meantime, crowd accumulated and the police also came. The police also said that the they needed the number of the scorpio guy to file a FIR but until now the Scorpio guy was out of the scene. I want to know, in such cases who is at fault?
The car is now at Pushp Honda workshop, Kanpur. The SA has estimated about Rs.75000 for the repairs most of which should be covered by the insurance. Even the Front Chrome grill has broken. Seeing the damage at front, one can guess that the scorpio collided with some decent speed.
Attaching pics below along with some photos with tizzy when my City was in its glory (and will be back in some 15 days from now!!)

OMG. Very glad that your parents were safe.

After my city accident issue, now I see yours which is highly annoying [anger]. And almost the situation is was same. A SUV with pull bar makes huge damage to our Citys.

Don't Worry, your Crusader will come back very quickly. I hope this estimation would be correct based on my experience.

Thank you gandhi,
I saw your City is now up and roaring the roads! She looks really beautiful with those angel eyes, was convincing my father to get the projectors installed along with the repairs!

It feels very bad especially when such things happen for no fault of our and when the root cause ( the i10 driver in my case and the swift man in your case) get out of the scene without even a scratch. That i10 owner ought to be taught some lesson but then its god's wish and whatever happens is for good! Bull bars should be banned because they are a serious threat to pedestrian safety as well!

btw, how do you earn award points?

Thanks Rollerdude. These projectors will look good in White City also. I had seen couple of Citys with Projector head lights.

I'm not sure when these kind of people will change, and behave with Road sense instead of non-sense. I'm not sure whether the upcoming MV act will address all these issues including of banning Bull pars.

It was a surprise for me also to get an award. Go thru the below links, you will understand the award points.

lol, there is something confusing with your "p" and the "b". First you typed "pull bars" and now"bull pars"!!
Jokes apart, we usually avoid journeys at night and so my father is not willing to invest in projectors. Also, I don't know any any reliable accessories guy in Lucknow or Kanpur who can do this work properly.

Hello @Rollerdude,

Sorry to hear about your vehicle accident bro. It really hurts to see such incidents. Its main fault of that first i10, may be he was out of his mind but didn't suffered a thing is bad. Others had to suffer because of his stupidity. Finally the driver of SUV should have focused on road or choice rear seat and let others drive. If his focus was road, he could have turned his vehicle and prevent the hit. As of bull bars, it makes things worst then good but most use it for looks.

One incident had happened when I was driving my Nano on highway. It was a SUV coming on other side of road, at the speed of more then 150 KM/h and was over taking a car. I had to pull my car to edge of the road in a fraction of seconds. Lucky there was some space otherwise I would have roll down (The highway was 20fts above ground and no barriers) or hit by that SUV and thrown far away. No damages were occurred.

I am really thankful to Honda that your parents are safe, after the accident. It was a great thing both had put their seat-belts otherwise the outcome could be worst. I never drive without putting seat-belts and the co-passengers, no matter short the destination is. I don't know about other cars, but its a good thing Honda made seat-belt unused alert that beeps ever minute or two, atleast you'll be annoyed and put on the seat-belts. [:D]

Don't lose your love with the vehicle after its recovered. Wishing for the best and eagerly awaiting for snaps after the repairs.

Thanks...
Best Regards
