Same downloaded source but different sound.
Whenever play music connecting my phone via bluetooth...sound is quite depressed.same music played via USB is quite peppy.Anybody facing similar issues?
the sound quality degrades a little bit if you play through a wireless source. it's normal for every music system and not just in your car.

a direct source like a good quality aux wire and a USB will always have better quality.

Can you think of a pattern? Like, when is the cabin silent and when it is noisy?? How is it when AC is on, how is it when music system is on, is it getting noisy because one of the windows glass is not closed properly. Does it vary with the time of the day - like, too noisy in the morning because of cold engine and normal in the afternoon when engine is warmed up. If there is no pattern at all, then you should get it checked with the A.S.S and try to reproduce the issue to them.

well the noise is almost nil with the windows open prob due to outside noise. but yes there is a pattern to it. its a bit of an irritant on my way back from office. its usually parked in the sun and i don't know if the heated air in the cabin has anything to do with it. something related to the pressure dynamics on the ear etc. like i said in my earlier post its nearing 1yr and am going to complete 20000 on the odo. now a days when i break i hear a whining noise . is it sign to change the break pads , which i think would be premature at 20000kms. but i read of amaze owners who have had to change theirs at a similar odo reading.

What is the present waiting period of Honda City Petrol?Considering SV CVT and VMT as Diesel and VX is over our budget.

And,I found a Honda City VMT Diesel 2014 version which has clocked 13600 Km and asking price is ₹11L which I felt VFM as present VMT Diesel costs ₹13L in Hyderabad. He could reduce the cost till ₹10.75L.This car is equipped with projectors,OEM Modulo grille, rear spoiler and quality leather seats.Colour is Red and car completed 1 year and Telangana registered.

iDtech had completed a run of 20000 kms and got it serviced two days back. total service bill came to 6539/- . did not get wheel alignment done as i had done it at 17000 km ( i hit a divider in the dark and ran over it after which i got the wheel balancing and alignment done from outside ). . break pads are fine. The one thing i liked about the service center is that they didn't try to force me to go for extra works. they went by the service manual. a no nonsense professional attitude[clap]

Is Honda offering cruise control in City SV and V versions?I saw a City SV at my locality having cruise control so just asking whether it is there or not.

It's a welcome move by Honda by offering cruise control in SV and V versions.

Are they offering DRLs as an accessory? I have booked a Vx(o) option, and cannot resist the audi type DRLs and angel eyes, but not interested in voiding warranty anyhow.

No.Honda is offering DRLs only in RS variant of Mobilio. There are plenty of aftermarket options though.FYI I have DRLs installed in my SV Ivtec.[:)]

Guys need your consultation
Went for 20K service today & both the front shockers were found leaking. The dealership did not have the stock of the same & advised me to come after 7-10 days once they receive the shockers. They also mentioned that warranty replacement will be subject to if no bends/breakage are found at that time. My point is that since my daily driving is high~100 kms, what if current leakage is due to some manufacturing defect & this bending/breakage or whatever happens within next 7-10 days till the time new parts arrive & i am denied warranty on pretext of this after developed consequential damage due to current leakage? Hope i am clear in my communication.Looking forward for your valued advise.
Regards

Hi, I understand your concern, one thing you should do is to be behind them for replacement, do not accept the bends/breakage theory, write an email to Honda if the dealer do not budge under your pressure. You will definitely get the replacement. I did the same in my tires case, however my uncle is using my city vx cvt due to problem in left leg. I am not driving the car now

Over all the quality of this next gen city has gone down and I felt that grand i10 is better car put together.

Problems/niggles in current gen city are--
1. Cowl top rattle noise - easy to fix
2. Dashboard rattle noise - do not attempt to fix, as it will create lot of new problems
3. Suspension problems- every alternate person is facing this, dealers are replacing it, if you make noise
4. Alternator grinding noise -- can be fixed by replacing the alternator
5. Bad insulation as compared to previous gen city
6. Flimsy build quality and overall the car is not put well together.
7. AC takes more time to cool than previous gen city.
