Re: Tata Motors Working on a New Premium Hatchback!
I have got some Idea to develop a new SUV. With JLR on it's rescue, TATA should borrow the older gen Discovery Chassis and body frame only. The engineers at TML should have a task to design new body panels for an all new design and dash board with the interiors including new seats designs should be incorporated along with plonking the 2.2 Varicor engine developing about 160 BHP for this new Gen Safari.
I think this is a very cost effective method and can put the New Safari on road in a record one year or a half more.
Coming to the Indica, Have you all noticed the new Indica. Though it is an old deisgn, the car looks outstanding and new when looked at it head on. But coming to the rear it look out of place. Even if TML plans to have the indica for a few more years, I think they should change the dashboard and the rear and I think that should prolong the life of the car for some more time. I am tired of seeing the old dash for too long and need a new one.
