got my revotron xt dune beige dalivered.
so far the ride is a bliss....
autovikas dwarka delhi did not dish out a single offer/product alongwith the car, rather charged extra @2500/- for RC quoting they have to pay the middle man.
All features functioning fine.
The gear shift however is not that smooth as i was expecting specially the R.
Did not opt for extended warranty since my running is @ 500 km a month.

I have also booked dune beige Zest XT revotron from AutoVikas dwarka. The delivery is expected by end of November.
Why they charged you extra for RC? Did you have any document missing?

From where you got the car insurance? Autovikas has quoted 23.5k for normal insurance(no zero dep). I am getting quote of Rs 20k(zero dep) for outside insurance from Tata AIG.
What extra accessories you bought? How was your overall dealership experience?

I checked bharti axa zero dep policy was 17k for petrol xms with IDV 5.4 lacs

I had also bought my TATA ZEST-XT - Silver Colour, from Concorde. Had some similar experiences.
On booking on 24.09.2014, I was assured of the delivery on 21st i.e. Dhanteras and I paid full payment on 1st Oct, 2014. On my regular enquiring till 17.10.2014 about the delivery I was assured it will be on 21st only. On 18.10.2014 suddenly I was told
that the car can only be delivered between 10-15th Nov. as my vehicle is yet to be dispatched from the factory, and if I opt for a lower model that can be considered for delivery on 21st.
Suddenly recd a call on 27.10.2014 that I can have my car delivered on 1-2 Nov, and should visit Showroom to intimate the accessories reqd. I took the delivery on 2.11.14, but found that the car cover was not there as it had not arrived and the mud flaps fitted were not of ZEST but for some other model. While driving home I found that on Taking a right or left turn, the front Mud Flaps would rub against the front tires thereby giving out a screeching noise. On enquiring and showing it to the SR I was told that they have been temporarily fitted as the Original Mud Flaps have not arrived as yet. Again I had to take the car to the showroom as & when the same will come and till then I cant drive the car or drive with the Screeching noise while taking turns.

I guess Concorde seriously has some problems. Being a Tata Subsidiary TML should focus on their own subsidiary if they are really serious in passenger segment.

Wow congrats jaksunil. I had booked Dune Beige earlier and due to TML's strategy of not producing this car in abundant forced me to go for White. Upload pictures and start an ownership thread. I loved the Beige colour after seeing one on road. I regret for not waiting

Had a recent trip with 4 on board with a kid. It was around 400 Kms with 30% AC with a speed of 90-100 Kmph. Around 300 kms was on a highway and another 100 on rough village roads. 40% City, 60% ECO mode overall gave me around 15.7 Kmpl. Hope it improves after the run in period.

hi the experience so far is so so... . autovikas dwarka as i said are a typical TATA image carrier No improvement of any sort. some updates on zest overall ride & handling . issues noticed so far are gear behaving wonky sometimes when reversed and gives vibes in 3rd fwd gear. one surprising descovery is that engine compartment is not covered from bottom one could see entire road on an open hood.

Hey Lohith. Congrats for your new buy buddy. Your Zest looks awesome buddy and well when I took a TD of it, it dint even feel like a Tata. Considering your mileage of 10 kmpl, its the run in time and hence forth there will be improvement. But wanted to note you about Turbo Petrol engines. Turbo petrol engines are extremely sensitive to fuel. Well if you tap the accelarator, right shifts at right time and drive casually then they reward you with best efficiency. But there is another side of it. If you are the type of person who loves to be sporty and likes pushing the car hard to its limits then you'll get one of the worst fuel efficiency. Anyways I'm waiting more for your experiences and pics. Wishing you loads of happy miles in it.

Good News: Tata Motors called me today and informed that they designed a new Bracket to fix Mud in the Engine Bay problem in Zest. Planned to take the car to Service Station by this Weekend and update here.

Hello Everyone,

This is my first post in TAI and I booked a Tata Zest XT Revotron Pristine White and the delivery is on Dec 6th.

On Road Price is 7.26L. Accessories costed me some more. I am still awaiting to get the final quote on the accessories from the Tata dealer which I will get tomorrow.
So, below are the extra accessories I have opted for and bear with me I am not really good with the exact names of the accessories :
1. Integrated reverse parking camera into HK music system
2. Portable GPS Navigation System
3. Two entertainment screens that will be fixed to drive and passenger seats' backside
4.Bumper Guards
5. Mud Flaps
6. Window Visors

Let me know if I need to put any other accessory which is really needed...
