The dealers aren't aware of anything. Only when it is aloted and dispatched these guys get to know.

First of all congrats for right and wise decision of buying Zest than being conned by inferior quality interiors of Amaze and Xcent.

Please do not forget to write Fuel Efficiency you are getting coz up until now, there is very little information available about Diesel fuel efficiency of Zest.

Please let us know your initial feeling when the car delivered to you, which dealer, total on raod price, accessories, driving comfort, engine response, any electrical issues, touch screen response, steering reponse, any niggling issues, fuel efficiency and any other things you noticed.

Got email from TML, they said that they are looking into the concerns raised by me regarding status of delivery etc. They have assigned task to regional manager who sits in Ahmedabad (probably, I am not sure about his HQ). Afterwards got phone call from him. They said they will revert back to me with solution to me asap.

At least somebody is listening there in TML, now whether they are acting upon it or not will be known only in few days time.

I thought you wanted to write Dzire there instead of Xcent. If not then i beg to differ, Xcent still has the best quality interiors for me in this segment. Not sure how many would agree, but it is considered as the benchmark across.

Well I am not sure about quality of plastic in Xcent because I sat in its cabin almost 5 months ago. But definitely fit and finish as well as layout inside is fantastic in Xcent and that should be a benchmark in the class. Zest offers class leading interior space and class leading dashboard features. I wish they could have included Cruise control in top model, that would have hit big guns like city, verna and ciaz even.

Well I feel even the plastic quality is top notch in the Xcent. Usually the Koreans pay a lot of attention to detail in all these aspects. They have repeated this in the i20, Verna, i10 Grand etc.

Here is the attached Zest Accessories list, but you won't find most of the accessories across any dealer (unless you are very, very lucky). Most of the accessories are overpriced and you will have to specifically order to get them fitted. Apart from seat cover prices which are genuine (although I am yet to see them), rest you can get from market at far cheaper prices.

Engine performance is very good and responsive. Waiting period is 1.5 to 2 months if you are going for any particular color. If you prefer Blue color, you are assured of an early delivery (according to my SA).

My Dune Beige wasn't dispatched on that day as told by the SA at Concorde. Its not dispatched till now

I wrote a mail to their customer care and escalated this. Now they are giving an option for White colour. If I want White, they can deliver immediately it seems.

White also looks striking with those black cladding near front and rear bumper. In fact the black cladding only looks good in White and Beige.

Today evening one more allotment is scheduled for shipment and if my Beige is not dispatched I am zeroing on White

What say guys ?

Due to this stupid policy of Tata I have in advance given them three colors. My first preference is Dune Biege, second is White (and like you if I will be offered white, I shall accept it) and the third is Platinum Silver.

I would say go with white, it looks rich and premium, and you shall have peace of mind of not waiting and wasting time in tracking TML SA and customer care

BTW when did you book? How much actual time it took between your booking and their confirmation about availability of the car for you?

don.lohith, Atindra white definately does looks brilliant with that black cladding along with the same on silvers and beige.
I saw first dune beige two days back on road.It looks superb.Similar to what they offered the shade on anniversary vista with blackened alloys.Similar to that shade.
But as atindra shared, you can opt for white as well.It looks brilliant.

Don't worry, White looks amazing...first i booked SkyGrey and later i changed to White. I am expecting delivery by next week at KHT Motors, Bangalore.
