Tata Zest Test Drive and Review

There are quite a few grievances from zest customers on FB & seems mostly from the Dealers side where they are being forced to buy insurance else cancel their booking . TML should pull up these guys for this horrible behaviour. Remember, customer experience is end to end.

Go for the Sky Grey. It really looks marvellous with alloys. Blue is Ink Blue color and while it does look great, Grey has its own majestic, royal and shiny look IMHO

I suggest blue because I think in Grey, all the black elements like cladding in rear bumper, lower portion of ORVM, Fog lamp housing get lost. They are not distinguishable. This is my personal opinion. People may differ from this.Ho

However, Grey looks stunning in lower trim alloy wheel.

I haven't gone through manual, completely. But till now, I haven't find it. Also, SA also told that there is no such mention.

I'll confirm once I have gone through it completely.

i have gone through the user manual of tata zest and it clearly mention to idle for at least 30 sec before and after drive, second thing- turbo is not water cooled, who told you this false information.

Sky grey is way too dark, almost close to black, with such color, metallic accessory looks great but color gets heated more and gets dirty more. Blue is quite unique to Zest except may be xcent having similar shade. So blue would be my suggestion.

Thanks Guyz for your suggestion. I'm planning to make the booking today through my company (Car Lease). So 2 Votes for Blue & 1 for Grey. Sad that my wife striked out "Red" from the equation

Can some one post the mud flap pictures? Because some of the informed people told me that Tata's mudflap might not be good enough to take care of mud and that is why mud sneaking into to the engine bay.

Atindra its not about the mud flaps. Rather a poor design of the wheel cover.

After taking 4 test drives at different dealers, I was beginning to doubt how come the remote boot lid opening feature was not mentioned to by any SA or dealer.

I have got few Quotations from couple of dealers in Pune. Surprisingly their invoice price differs by 5/6 thousands for same model. also they are quoting 6k as 'Logistic Charges'. what are these charges for ??
