Returned from a 200KMs trip from Ghaziabad - Anupshahar - Ghaziabad. It was 40% City and 60% Highway mix. After every 5 KMs, there was a village. Hence, couldn't find trafficfree long stretch.

This trip returned me 14 KM/L. 80 was the max speed and 2500 was the max RPM I touched. Used ECO mode with AC ON 90% of the time.

Seems good mileage keeping in mind running-in period.

It is looking good FE. please can you write summary of 1 month experience of zest.

Yes, It has been a month. However, I have driven her for only 500KMs. Out of which 200KMs is the single long trip.

Till now, I am satisfied with the features/capabilities I have used. There are many things though which are yet to be tested like Sports Mode, handling at high speed (80-100 kmph), FE in Sports mode, Mud issue in wet/muddy road, Full experience of HK system etc.

Will keep updating regularly as I test these things.

Hi all
Got a call today from dealer saying that my xt dune beige will reach dealership in next two days
He asked me to pay some more money and get the car billed. I am not sure whether it is correct to get the car billed even without seeing.
Pl educate

No, don't do that and don't listen to dealer.

Next time he calls you, tell him to show you your car first and inspect D car thoroughly and satisfy yourself and then give him the money.

Hi Guyz,

Small update from my side. I am facing small issue that Reverse Parking Sensors don't get activated when I start the engine and slot the reverse gear. They work well when engine has run for sometime like 1-2 minutes, but not immediately. If I press the sensor switch, then they work.

Is anyone else facing this issue?

I did a quick check recently on Zest in Mumbai dealer and it is definitely a good car with lot of features for the pricing. Mumbai has a waiting of 3-4 months for petrol is what I was told. The car is compact and feels solid

Very good product finally from Tata, only if the dealiership and workshops also come up the curve

Hi I got my Revtron XT yesterday and drove about 40 KMS and the reverse parking sensors are working as soon as I engage the reverse gear.
I have one issue with my steering console. The horn pad is quite hard to push. Is that a common thing with Zest ??

In test drive also I noticed horn pad little bit hard.
Is it for new vehicles also?

Yes the horn pad is bit hard. It has to be hard else don't you think there will be a tendency to use it very often in metro's ?
You also need to stretch a bit to access the horn pad. I feel such designs are a welcome in reducing unnecessary honks. Purely my opinion.

Hi All,
I am new in this group so not sure if this question is already addressed, so pls redirect me.
I booked revotron XT in early Sep and very near to get delivery, I have one confusion regrading rear view camera (which has not been added even in top end), so can we add bluetooth rear camera and get video into our Harman infotainment system's screen as we can add few Bluetooth devices there.
when I asked sales persons about this possibility, they are saying NO, so I have only option left to get additional rear view camera with screen(camera attached with rear mirror is costly around 20k+) but that made my confusion , because I don't want to put one more screen on my dashboard, so any had tried or have any better option on this?

The top-end Harman System(Touchscreen) is capable of handling the camera .
Am not sure about the other version though.
IF they say so, then ask them if they can redeem the money(at least 75%) of the Harman system that comes company fitted and you then install another music system which will take both the music and the camera. You can buy it from them only.

To be frank, the dealers can do this. Its just that its dependent on their wish. So request/pester them as required :-)

Thanks....even I am thinking this should be possible, when I ask one of sales person in Bangalore he said "Tata motor has cut that part because of price concern".
So has anybody here asked about this from dealer or outside?

Directly talk to the dealer's Manager.
Tell him that the other dealer YYY is offering the same.
So please facilitate this else I cancel my booking.
Pressurize. At max they'd decline, nothing to lose.
