Guys,
Spotted a Vista 90bhp today at RTA which was there for registration. It was Cavern Grey color. Sorry, no photos taken as the place was crowded.
My observations:
No modifications done whatsoever on the looks part.
Comes with Manza dashboard.
Black color on the roof.
Badged as "Vista VX90" at rear and of course "ABS"
IMO, it will be a flop because it looks very boring and people looking for a 90bhp hatch are kind of racing type and they prefer hot looks where Vista clearly lacks. TATA should have simply concentrated on the current Vista Q'Jet sales and moved on.

Vista D90 is just another variant of the ever popular Vista,so there is no question of it becoming hit or flop.What it'll do for sure is enhance the overall appeal of Vista as a brand with more power,Manza like dashboard,MID,ACC,GPS Sat Nav and other features.

The exterior is not overly different from current Vista sedan class,though the black roof does add some character.

Since the VX and ZX both have reached dealerships(and are available for sale),I think the official launch will be one more top of the line variant and it could be named Vista D90 sport.Also,it should be available with ACC and GPS.Launch should be anytime after 16th as the 30 day Vista spotlight challenge will only end on 16th!

Did you mean to say Vista 90bhp did not launch yet? I have already seen one at the RTA for registration on 5th Jan. It was a VX 90 model.

Vx and ZX have been softly launched without much hoopla,but one more top of the line variant aka Vista D90 "Sport" is scheduled to be launched around 17th of this month with full fanfare.That model will most probably get: contrast roof,wing mirrors,air dam,Manza like touchscreen multimedia Sat NAV and Automatic Climate Control!!
