Vista is not yet checked under the hood. Even service center guys also have a doubt on it.

By seeing the pic's Dzire has got more damages than yours.
BTW what was speed when it was hit.
So is he also claiming insurance or you are paying for it..

AppU, its really sad to know that your Vista met with an accident...

BTW, it seems Vista is stronger than DZire by looking at the pics...

So, that you just need to replcae the radiator hose, bonnet lid, bumper alone...

Look at the front bummper... the small hole lid still hangs with it firmly...

My dad said, that he was around 50Kmph. Actually he was in Right lane. During the Accident, there was a two-wheeler on left lane, so my dad was not able to change the lane

Dzire also Claiming for the insurance. apart from Insurance amount, we have to pay the remaining amount

That hole is used by Tow tool to tow our Whity to Vellore.

Sorry to hear about the accident. Be careful on the Chennai Bangalore highway. It is not as safe as it used to be.

Yes a damage is a damage, but Vista looked very strong with its body built !! the saddest part is you have to pay the remaining amount for Dzire and you have to get the Vista repairs done

Whity met with the small accident

unfortunately before applying our breaks, Our Vista dashed Dizre rear.

Radiator hose of Whity has broken. So my Dad called to CEO of TATA dealer Vellore. Immediately TATA guys came to the spot. And Whity was towed to Vellore TATA Dealer.

Yesterday, I went to Vellore from Chennai & visited our whity and provided all the documents to claim the insurance.

Tomorrow (Monday 18/02/12), Insurance agents will survey our Whity and approve its claim, then Whity will go for replacements of parts.

Ohh this is very sad part of the story Appu, everything will get over soon don't worry.

On last Friday, my dad went to Yelagiri with Whity. while returing to Vellore, near Vaniyampadi, A dog crossed the road suddenly, due to that a Dizre before our car applied its break suddenly.

You know what, i had the same incident when i was travelling from Yelagiri to Vellore, i did 150kmph in empty stretch and a light curve and saw a dog crossing immediately, i did not what to do i just just braked hard and thought the dog went under the wheels, but it escaped luckily as per my friend who was following me in his figo far behind, and for god's sake nobody was right behind me, else i too would have faced the same issue.

Seems like Dzire got an heavy beating and nothing much from Vista,
So the bumper and grille needs to be replaced?

That Dizre guy needs to check his IRVM before applying his breaks.

Yes TATA Build quality is strong compared to Maruthi's(No offense to Maruthi Owners)

Bumper and Bonnet are in the List to get replace.

As like Varun said A/C condenser and intercooler/turbo manifold needs to be check in-front of Insurance agents by today, then only we came to know about the damage inside the bumper.

From the pics, it doesnt appear that the AC condensor would have got the injuries, however the damage cannot be ruled out completely without the inspection. Do post the details as soon as the TASS guys have checked under the hood.

Yes Guys, As like we expected Inter cooler and A/C condenser also got damaged.

It seems during the accident, the bumper collided, due to that the parts got damaged. once both cars are separated, the Bumper back to its original position and seems like nothing happened

Here is the List of major parts going to get replace:
1.FR Bumper,
2.Bonnet,
3.DR Radiator frame,
4.Radiator,
5.Radiator Fan,
6.Collent Hose,
7.A/C condensor,
8.A/C hose,
9.Turbo intercooler,
10.Engine crash guard,
11.Inter cooler Hose.

Total amount quoted for claim is Rs.63,000/.

We have to pay 50% for plastic parts and 5% for metal parts it seems. As I'm in Chennai, I'm not able to visit my car. I'm gathering all the information from my Dad and the SE of TATA Dealer, Vellore.
