Also the speedometer reading will vary between 10-20%, as well as performance, if you are doing such drastic wheel size change.
Well, I own a tigor XE which has 13" wheel which are kind of screaming for upgrade , the accessories manager a close friend of mine is pretty confident that 15" alloys would be perfect he says after all tigor xz comes with 15" alloys so should pose an issues.
I'm still undecided , I'm staring at a 50k upgrade.
I'm kind of confused, any suggestions would help me a ton.

I feel 50K is too high. You could check out after market alloys as well which gives exclusivity to your car and cost a lot less. Plati, Neo Wheels etc are decent starts. You will be able to sell off your stock 13" rims and tyres which will help offset the upgrade cost.

50K includes tires + alloys accessories manager is willing to give a 10% discount.
He quoted 34K for alloys only , considering the stock 15" alloys exclusively for peace of mind and warranty issues and they looks flippin awesome!
What would be the resale value of my stock 13" rims and tires.
Would the upgrade from 13" to 15" cause any issues ?
Thanks a ton!

If worried about warranty then OEM is the only option. I have no idea on tire resale values but your rims will fetch you only around 1000 bucks or so. Please check out current price of new tires of the same brand/spec and price yours according to current tread wear. OLX/Quickr/Facebook are your best bets to sell them off easily.
Upgrading to 15", that too stock Tigor alloys will not cause any issues AFAIK.

Thanks again , the tires are in pristine condition and have run just 2600KM as of today.
The upgrade is quite enticing!
BTW, getting DRL's ,Android 7.0 head unit with a real good wide angle rear camera currently looking into some great audio setup.

Friends,

Reporter Saab's Update

* Car crossed 1K kms couple of days back. As on date it stands at 1200+ kms.

* No technical or mechanical issues by god's grace.

* FE in City Mode coming around 12-12.5 Km/L with 100% AC in city drives.

* Mis-aligned glovebox feedback shared with TML senior executive at Nexon launch.

* Fuel Flap issue is now properly resolved. TML took note and resolved the issue to my satisfaction.

* Loving the drive so far.

* 1st free service to be done in near future. Maybe in a week's time.

* Feeling at peace and comfortable seeing this compact sedan easily pass through rough roads and tight spaces where my Honda CITY can't go.

* Officially my car gets the TAI sticker. Same one which my Esteem had.

Hi All,

Test drove the Tigor XZ[O] Petrol yesterday.

I was pleasantly surprised after the test drive. I deliberately kept the AC off to check engine noise. The engine was smooth. Noise was not very high [it was similar to my Wagon R]. I felt that the engine power was adequate and it pulled cleanly. We were five adults in the test car. Tried the Eco mode when the car was at about 40-50 km/hr speed. I did not felt too much loss of power. In fact IMO, the engine response, refinement was much better than my Wagon R.

Comfort level with 3 adults in the rear seat was just about OK - not very comfortable but not too uncomfortable either.

Overall I was very impressed with Tigor. This car's engine is unnecessary being criticized IMO. Will definitely consider it and recommend to my friends.

Your observations are appropriate buddy. Though so far I have driven my car very less on Eco Mode since I am not really concerned for the FE but in the short span of Eco Mode drive, there is a notable effort made by engine to drive the car. CITY and Eco modes show notably different driving manners in Tigor. As for seating, indeed 3 pax on rear seat are a squeeze in it. I think and believe, the Tigor engine has been improved upon after the feedback from Tiago owners. I too think Tigor's engine is a reasonable performer and just to give my view on the shortfalls of the engine as has been often said, I am driving this car much more than my CITY Ivtec. So far in the CITY mode with 1200+ kms on ODO, I can say that the petrol engine is a capable performer.

@Akash -- Hows your Tigor doing. Have you faced any ground clearance issue with 4/5 adults on board. What is the city mileage with ac.

Bud, it is working absolutely fine and is doing well. Crossed 1500 kms 2 days back. Time for 1st free service has come so will be getting it done either today or on Sunday. The FE in AC in City is coming 12 to 12.5 km/L and I am good with it. As for the ground clearance, so far, mostly there have been 2-3 pax in the car (including driver) so with 3 pax I have not had any issue with the ground clearance in-fact that is one good thing that I miss in my Ivtec City and 2nd thing is the capability of Tigor's ride, I am really impressed with the way it tackles the potholes and rough roads.
