The pu leather base of the gear lever sometimes become loose & comes out on bad roads. Have anyone else experienced it?
A fellow owner mentioned something on the same lines here. I just pray all this doesn't crop up in my car. I am getting a bit scared reading these small but significant issues. I am taking note of these and will tell the dealer about it when I go for the car's registration number next week.

Unfortunately problem will crop up in your car as well. There are many common problems in tiago also which takes away the fun. Dealer will say haven't heard of these problems. When you casually tell the sales advisor about the problems(after s month or so when you go to the showroom to take the rc) he will casually say get it checked from the sc. Nothing else.
Would still advice you like before , cancel the booking and get yourself the aspire or dzire.
Btw did you book the xz(o) ? What's the cost ? 670,000 ? Aspire titanium will cost you 6 after bargaining.(delhi number)

Edit : just saw that you have already bought the car. Congrats [;)]

Point Noted. Can you / anyone help me with a pic of the same issue? It will be of help to speak to the dealer / SA on it.

I would have gone for Aspire Top End if the waiting period wasn't very long. I got Tigor in 15 days from booking (including all holidays in between) but in Aspire it was 2-3 months when I had inquired.

Ya XZO. It costed me 6.81 with all accessories & Noida Number.

Thanks Shikhar. I tried calling you but the network issues kept on coming. The whatsapp message also failed don't no how. Showing some update required.

Dont worry, it will be fixed by ASS guys as it common in these cars and a job of just 5 minutes to fix.

As far as rear fog bulb missing, so it is same from Indica V2 days wherein the rear parking light bulb was missing out of two. So I think it's a norm of cost cutting. You can get new bulb installed if you want.[frustration]

I think every car comes with its share of small niggles. Nothing major in my Tigor to negate the fun out of it. Half of them can be fixed very easily.
Aspire petrol is too lethargic engine, the reason i dropped it from my list. 6 months ago i was almost going to book Aspire but dropped the idea & waited for Tigor.

No offence.
But I still feel Aspire's petrol engine would be on par or better than Tigor's petrol engine.

My theory was that if both the engine are almost same then why not buy better looking & feature rich car. For me integrated reverse camera was also a must. Aspire's boot is small too (359 vs 410).

I think for Diesel Aspire is a better choice but have heard stories of Figo Petrol owners getting as low as 8-9kmpl in city which makes Tigor a better choice but with its own share of niggles.

Exactly Aspire Diesel is the one to go for.
My Tigor is giving 16-19.5 kmpl on mixed riding (80%highway) .Till now total run 800km.

Buddies,

There are a couple of minor shortcomings in Tigor XZO as I have noticed in 1 day ownership[:)].

2) One reverse light that too right at the bottom making it more vulnerable to damage. The rear fog lamp isn't having a bulb and so no illumination in it.
What do you mean one reverse light? You mean these arent reverse lights??

I really didnt like these single reversing lamp style in hyundais , and now tigor too![surprise]
Me neither, my Tiago has two reverse lights and I never thought TML will drop one in Tigor. Initially I assumed it was traded off for a functional rear fog lamp but knowing its a dummy, I tend to see this act nothing more than cost cutting. [frustration]
