brake light (never seen that long led light strip on indian cars before)
Today when i came across Audi A7 on the road,immediately tata kite 5 came to my mind.(i know it is apples vs oranges)but why can't i share my mind.

Thanks for posting these pics here. These pics are from Coimbatore. A friend of mine spotted the Kite and took these pics. I posted them on Fb and lo! Thrust zone took them. Yes the Kite looks gorgeous.

I would like to hear your friend observation,impression about the car,as he has seen it in flesh.

After seen the car I can say it looks pretty different. the fastback rear is a start of new design language in India in budget entry level sedans. If it would be little longer would look outstanding.

before the sight I was thinking which was designed first Tiago or the sedan version? But now I think its the sedan version cause the headlight assembly looks better integrated(complete one black part) with grill than hatchback (my opinion) however it require different set of alloys than Tiago, which will do the justice to the fastback sub4m boot. And It begs for bigger tyres.

Even the Tiago alloys are incomplete of the original alloy design or I would say half done version to maybe save cost.

Thanks for your observations.I think alloy design even if not exceptional is not bad,blacken stock alloy would look good.Regarding tyres 15inch on top end variant would have been good.In ideal condition kite 5 design and zest dimensions and power would do justice to it.

I would like to know one more thing ,its road presence in comparison to cars like swift.

Yes, the friend i mentioned has just joined Tata motors service dept. He was really impressed with what he saw in person as well as in pics.
Regarding alloys design, i suppose the Tiago alloys are being used only for the prototypes. Remember the official images of the Kite 5 released by Tata motors on the expo? They had much more sexier looking alloys. I guess they didn't want to reveal the alloy design on the mules.

Its not comparable to Swift. It got different kind of presence and appeal. Rear looks amazing if you got taste for something different than a regular sedan boot. The side profile appears Hatchback with something different form the first glance and after that your heart says Vola no its a sports/premium kind of hatchback.

If you talk about the feeling of proper sedan than its not there and the width is less, visually as well however the sporty feeling is there. No doubt its the best design for a Sub4m sedan however I feel if the fastback design would have been implemented on Manza/Zest would do more due to more width visually.

No the headlamps are different than Tiago.

Smoked and it got orange stripped Indicator at the bottom of the unit but no Projectors

I would also like to know how it looks straight upfront,not from side but front,does the headlamp suit the car from front?Thanks in advance!

It looks like medium(more towards small) car from the front. Its looks similar to Tiago, no visual difference at all from front if you look from far. I can say its in between BRIO/Amaze and Swift/Dezire from front as far as size and presence is concerned. But far better in Looks/design than Swift & Amaze

The new/sedan headlamps look better than Tiago as I mentioned earlier as well (previous posts). It appears to be a complete/better unit integrated with grill with change of design (double barrel with indicator strips at bottom) and smoked effect.

Brother i didn't mean the display car. I know that the display car had aftermarket alloys.
I clearly meant the official pics released of the kite 5. The studio shots by Tata motors. It has better looking alloys.

we might not see even those Alloys on the production model as Tata is going to play VFM card again with quite a huge margin compared to other CS cars available in the market.

They will try to save cost as much as they can with parts sharing. There are already lot of different parts in the Kite5 sedan than Tiago. Ie

Headlamps
Tail lights
LED integrated Spoiler
Entire boot
Climate control
infotainment system
Seats (back seat)
Engine (different tune)
boot opening mechanism
rear quarter glass & assembly
Chrome strip on window glasses(forgot the original name of the part)

These changes are already cost increment advancements which leads to increase of cost. So we might not see different set of alloys and some other parts as well. However I would love to see different alloys than chrome strip on the glasses.
