Today when i came across Audi A7 on the road,immediately tata kite 5 came to my mind.(i know it is apples vs oranges)but why can't i share my mind.

Reminds me of Dodge Charger, though its lights are on the boot lid.

I think it's the boot design & the way it opens is going to be the 'segment-first' feature in Kite5.

well the segment first in kite sedan could be:
1. the way the boot opens, hinges not obstructing the boot space
2. Multi drive modes
3. May be a start stop button
4. May be the fuel saving, micro hybrid tech

Very interesting that Tata guys decided to choose an outside vendor for wheel alignment & balancing. This was indeed a plan from them to generate interest among the public. Good move

Maybe this is because the car is far from plant, they didn't go to dealer for some obligations and everyone knows that doing this at dealership will result in attention and pictures leaking. Maybe they encountered a very bad stretched and passed it like we passed the Tiago test car (Even Scorpio and Safari guys were looking at we zoom past them on a very bad stretch), this may have resulted in alignment etc error.

Could be just enroute calibrations.
They sensed & they got it right immediately, when they got the need, saving alot of time & resources just than making any other rounds for fine-tuning, mainly for Suspension geometry.
Else it's a rainy reason & any error creeped up while testing while at bad stretch of tarmac can't be ruled out entirely.

Maybe i'm expecting 7000+ sales of TATA Kite5 if they priced well like 1.30 L to 1.50 L cheaper then current Compact Cars like Dzire and ZEST and we all know that we dont have proper competition of Kite5 at the movement so TATA can enjoy the Success

Their Target for - Tiago, Kite 5, Zest and Bolt- combined are around 15 K per month for next few months . I split the number
Tiago - 5-6K
Kite5 - 5K
Zest - 2-2.5K
Bolt - 1-1.5K


And No NEXON this year, Nexon may come second half of 2017

this is really bad management by Tata.

they are into compact segment
IndigoCS and Zest. They are into hatch with Nano, Indica, bolt and Tiago. Tiago is getting them numbers as well. I think with Aktiv and AMT varaint Tiago can sustain the freshness till next year.

They should be infact concentrating on the segment theyare not present and they have the right machine to create a havoc in segment "NEXON" but hell no they want to lag and lag and lag behind the competition till market get saturated and see for some other different class and then they bring their ace. Which is bound to fail. What management is this?
Breeza is getting all the limelight. come 2017 some car would have the ICE like nexon that will not be any new thing for people tosee. Simply I am starting to get impatient with Tata. You have all the good things yet you want to shoot in your foot.

Same is the case with Hexa. Crysta is running with no competition check. Launch the hexa now. even NGT ban is lifted in Delhi. Stop smoking pot Tata management.

Kite 5's Back looks like Maserati GranTurismo's Back.The Kite 5 is gonna be one awesome looking car.Wheel alignment outside surprises me,I guess Tata team wanted to generate some interest with this car.If Priced under 8 Lakhs for the top-end with a More Powerful Engine (90 Bhp in this would be amazing ! Probably Engine from Bolt/Zest)and an AMT Transmission (For Sub-humans who have money but don't enjoy driving),This will be a great hit in India.The 3 Cylinder Tiago Engine in this car just won't cut it,I'm afraid.Pretty disappointing that Nexon will arrive on 2017.

Tata Kite5 launch in October

Forget the Hexa as that will take some time to come instead the next big launch from Tata Motors is the Kite 5 compact sedan which is coming this October.
Now the production version will hit the roads during the festive season with extremely aggressive pricing.
