Friend of mine having WagonR vxi AMT. It crossed around 25000kms and still works without any issues. As I have owned Alto K10 (custom with semi auto-clutch) previously, I felt the Maruti's ASS & resale value was soo good.

And in my city Trichy, TATA dealer Kaveri Garage is very new and the showroom didn't inaugurated officially too. When i asking about accessories too, they said they don't have any much accessories for tiago.

That's why I can't make my decision with this? WagonR Vxi AMT or Tiago XZA?
If you are comparing between WagonR and Tiago then i think Tiago is a much better car from safety point of view. Also looks wise Tiago is much better looking. Only area where i think WagonR scores is that of space.

Last Week when i took test drive they told they don't have any much accessories as the Showroom is new. The exact date is 16.11.2017. The same day also one Blue Tiago came from Registration.

Can you please explain the highlighted part of your above comment?
They using the same gearbox which is used on TATA Nano (which is half of the Tiago price)? I took test drive of all 5 vehicles (WagonR, Celerio, Alto K10, Tiago, Tata Nano - previously around 2015). A per my test drive, i felt this things with the AMT.

1) WagonR - D Mode: Little Lazy on lower gears, M Mode: Works Best
2) Celerio - D Mode: Little Lazy on lower gears and More Jerks, M Mode: Works good, but not felt as much as WagonR.
3) Alto K10 - D Mode: Little Jerks, M Mode: Works Best
4) Tiago - D Mode: Felt no power on lower rpms, M Mode: Little jerks on 2, 3 Shifts
5) Tata nano - D: Works Good not felt any jerks; but under powered, M: Little Jerks

Yes. Maruti & Tata using the same gear box from same manufacturer. But the way they built its totally different, as you can't see any Sports in All 3 Vehicles (wagonR, celerio, k10)

You are very much ill-informed, it's not the same GEAR BOX in the Tiago and Nano, it's the AMT which is common on all the above car's you mentioned, including zest, Ignis and soon to be released Nexon AMT, mfr is Magneti Marelli-sourced 4th generation AMT unit.

Maruti is using as reported their earlier gen AMT unit, until the Ignis, so the issues in the alto k10, celerio, not sure if the tuning has been corrected in the Wagon R.

Though there are no known AMT issues by Tata made car's.

Hope I could clear your doubts on the AMT chapter.

Thanks @Vinod for the detail description.

But I felt the butter smooth driving experience with WagonR AMT(without any jerks). Tiago has some little jerks and under powered in low rpms.

Thats why im still confusing to go with Tiago or WagonR? From my experience

WagonR good for engine refinement, reliable amt, maruti's best support and resle value (if i go after 5 years), Little More Mileage when compared with Tiago, Low Turning Radius for more practical while on city driving and also huge discounts (upto 30k :) )

Tiago has best in class outlook, interiors, built quality.

The price is almost same for the two.. Suggest me to go with which one?
And also WagonR has 2 two options Vxi & Vxi + (Only on Exterior and Dimensions)
Is that anything good in Vxi+?!

I think you should go for WagonR if you have so many doubts about Tiago. Also it is easier to be with crowd if proved wrong :)

For me overall safety that Tiago provides compared to Wagon R is good enough to take the plunge.

In front of tiago, wagon r is a no brainer!
I don't think so!. When recently launched Tiago available much in used car market and WagonR still available very few (2016-17 versions).

Thanks @tejRocket. I personally likes a lot with Tiago. But I want to ensure my investment on the correct vehicle, and ensure for long term reliability.

If resale and reliability take precedence over safety, then better to stick with WagonR. Tiago is fairly new to the market and long term reliability (5 years?) will be proved only by 2021 [:)]. You may also want to start a new thread under Car Shopper section to discuss the pros and cons of both products which will invite more audience than ownership threads like this.

Hi @Prabhagar, I'm not oppose with Tiago and not for publicize wagonR. Yes I can get more details in car shopper section. But i want to confirm the reliability from Tiago Owners as i can find more Tiago and Tata Customers here.

I have just one doubt, if Tiago really a worthy and great product why it is so much available for used car market within a year. you could find more tiago with 2016, 2017 models on olx. Why they all sell their reliable great car within a year even with just below 10000kms?! [confused]
