Was actually thinking on how to make the Tiago XT and XZ without alloy wheels look good.
EUREKA!
Presenting the "Tiago Street Smart" design theme.
This concept makes the Tiago's sober looking steel wheel caps much better than even the alloys on XZ.

Thats awesome DJbro. You have done an amazing rendering of Tiago with wheel caps. Hope Pratap bose and team take a look at your renders and bring a limited edition on these lines.

Though it would be bit of additional overhead managing the wheel caps in so many colors. But you have done is fantastically.

Was wondering where is DJbro and his new renders. Guess you are back with a bang.

Thank you all for your support. I am too busy with work that I rarely get time to think and use my other skills.
Based on the feedback on these designs, I'm thinking of doing some more color combinations. Especially for the white and brown Tiagos. I just wish Tata motors provides these customization options. Or atleast the dealers could provide these as exclusive options.

Is anyone in this forum have booked Tiago and waiting for delivery? If yes, How long have you been waiting? Is there still demand Vs Supply problem for Tiago?

Here is my Story:

I booked a Tiago XZ Petrol Espresso Brown (W/O alloys) on 11th October in Hosur (The True Sai Works). I was told a waiting period of 45-50 days. It has been more than 60 days and I have absolutely no information about the car from both the dealership and Tata Motors. This is after reminding the dealers several times in the last 2 weeks; sending emails to Tata Motors Customer care (customercare@tatamotors.com) and unsuccessfully trying to contact the Tata Motors Territory-Sales-Manager over phone (He doesn't pick up my calls).

Now I am thinking about cancelling the booking due to the null-response from them. Everytime I contact the dealer, the response goes like "Tata Motors hasn't allotted any Tiagos to them in November", "Our MD has gone to Chennai for the same subject, by tomorrow I will give you an update", "Our manager has gone to Salem to deal with this issue, I will give an update in 2 days", "we have sent the DD for 25 Tiagos, soon Tata will ship the cars (this was 10 days ago and yet no news until today)".

Though waiting impatiently, I am not really bothered about the delay but about the false promises from the dealer and no-response from Tata Motors. If I don't receive a prompt response by this Friday, planning to cancel the booking and go with Figo Diesel.
Got my Tiago allotted.....Finally !!![:)]
Received a call this morning from the Dealership and I was informed that My Tiago XZ Petrol Espresso Brown was billed last evening. Immediately contacted the Tata Motors Sales Manager and got the VIN. Apparently, it is a Dec 2016 Manufacture Vehicle [thumbsup]. Hoping to take delivery of the car next Saturday/sunday.

Is there any Video link on how to use GPS Navigation in Tiago ?
Not there Bro.
But you can follow the steps, special thanks to Arun Bro (quoted his words)

USING CONNECTNEXT...

Hi all... This s a post for using Navigation function in Harman system.

I got this msg from a member Venkatraman hedge in this group. Thought it will help some peoplel who have trouble in using the same.

If this procedure has any mistakes , pleases correct me...

1. Install ConnectNext app, ConnectNext services app and Navimaps on your phone.

2. Pair your device with the Harman through bluetooth.

3. Then turn off bluetooth on the phone.

4. Launch the connectnext app. It will show DISABLED.

5. Switch on bluetooth again.

6. Now the connect next app will show car connected.

7. Launch Navimaps app and it will activate the Pro guidance. It will take a few minutes for the first time. Initially you will have basic version but then it will detect the Tata harman system and download a patch file and full version will be activated. Pleases note that the phone should be connected to internet when initial setup is being done.

8. Now search for your destination in Navimaps and start navigation.

9. Go to settings in Harman and select the Navigation and it shows the directional arrow heads and also plays voice guidance through speakers.

*** After selecting destination , once the car starts moving , it will show arrows n guidance.

*** Mobile internet need not be switched on. To have live traffic updates internet should be on.

*** Gps should be switched on in the mobile.

Very important ....
Whenever we need navigation , first launch the connectnext app, it will show Disabled, after that switch on bluetooth. Then it will show Connected in the app.

If bluetooth is switched on first and then the connectnext app s launched , it will NOT work

So, I happened to get some feedback that the custom design on the wheel caps of the STREET SMART editions looked actually "Flower-ish".
So decidd to correct them a bit as well as add a few more color combinations with some cool names.
Here they are:
1. URBAN SUNSET
2. VENOMOUS
3. HOT ROD
4. SAMURAI
5. SCORCHER
6. FUNK
7. FLUORO
8. ATMOS
9. ATLANTIS
10. AQUA
11. DEVIL-CIOUS
12. METEOR
13. GOLD MINE

Now that the car is billed, Dealer is insisting me to release the payment. The car is in Transit and could land at the yard anytime after Dec 26. Being a first time buyer, I don't know if it's wise to make the payment before seeing the car in person...Your opinions will be valuable Pals....

To me it seems AMT will come in XZ and XM variants.

Not to pay a single penny to them, if you pay they will go ahead with registration even before you do PDI.
If you find any casualty during PDI, you will not be able to demand another car, as the present car is already registered in your name.
Tell your dealer that you will pay only after doing PDI yourself. After PDI, when you are satisfied with car you can go ahead and pay the remaining amount.

Tiago xz Petrol
Today did a long drive of 200 kms. 70% Highway + 30% city medium traffic. I drove only in city mode. Ac - 85%
Overall mid - 19.2 kmpl (real should be around 16.2 easily)
Highway mid - consistently on good highway it was around 25.5 real would be around 22.5
Highway mid without ac for 20 kms constantly 80-100 - 30kmpl

Overall Tiago is the most fuel efficient 1.2 petrol car on highway I genuinely feel. After filling tankful I have already driven 250kms and still around half tank fuel is there. In city average is 11-12kmpl with full ac and city mode in Bangalore heavy traffic like other petrol cars. ABS, EBD, CSC make the control so good I felt very very confident in driving. Only con was with 4 heavy people on board on high angles it struggles a bit. But is so relaxed and composed. Suspension and ride quality is pure bliss. Overall happy with my purchase :)
Completed 350kms on ODO.
