What in idiotic comparision features, just to increase the list, Fender cladding, black pillar applique,

I feel like in the school exams just like we used to come up with some attortious comparison points to compare between 2 species in biology, the renault guys have seem to do the same thing.
rightly said[clap]

Renault had nothing to boast of except the design, touch screen system and digital odo. That's it. No doubt the design is amazing and fresh in the market however rest is just another car with worst safety measures(assuming after the crash result & weight of the car) as nothing said in the presentation and only driver side airbag is available on top variants.

In turn Tiago is bang of the buck with solid build and way ahead in almost every aspect. Let's see how market will react to it. one thing will be interesting when both these vehicles will launched with AMT[confused]

Well i guess Tata should come up with Tiago AMT asap rather than the Tiago plus, Tiago AMT is what is required. there will be few takes for the sport variant.

I suggest a petrol variant with body cladings, bigger tyres/raised stance(GC) would be a great deal. And AMT should have been launched from the word go.

lets see what will come first.

DJbro@ here is new Idea for your skills. Tiago with body cladings[:D]

Exclusive Scoop from one of the highest level in TML

1. Hexa is launching this year itself, it is confirmed.
2. Kite 5 is launching after January 2016.
3. Nexon will take time. (Not sure what that meant)
4. TML is trying to push for AMT, it understands the market demand.
5. There has been a shuffle in top management, every product is closely monitored by the CEO with weekly meetings and follow ups.
6. They are back on track about launching 2 vehicles every year.

Well, with nexon, i havve a strong feeling that Tata might jjust loose the bus. Great concept, great execution for production ready, but then bad planning and taking it to production.

Within 1 year, hyundais, marutis or Mahindra may launch the car with ice like nexon, then that ice will not be a novelty. Hope atleast now they get their act together with Guentner B at the helm.

Was saying same thing from day 1. According to that damn 2 new models per year methodology, they can either launch Hexa or kite 5 this year as Tiago is already launched. Though I pray some miracle happens and they launch all 3 in festive season [evil] I am saving since I saw Nexon in Auto expo.

Hi,

I would like to share a brief ownership review.

I completed 2400 km on my Tiago XT petrol, ODO showing overall mileage 20.4 as of now. As my car ran a good distance, now I am feeling the real enjoyment of it, as it is smoooooth and super responsive even in Eco mode. Yes, there are some minor vibrations when car is idle or at low speeds, but definitely they are reduced now and can be avoided.

Overall, impressed with Tiago so far, but having few doubts. I feel actual ODO is less from original mileage by some 3-4 km.

I checked it with full tank method twice:
First I got 13.4 mileage for 250 km whereas ODO shows 18 (city traffic AC off and on).
Second full tank gave impressive mileage with ODO showing 23 for 400 km trip, but it was just a little less than 20 in real (Eco mode all highway with AC some 100 km). Anything around 20 is okay for me, it may improve after 2nd service though.

For second trip, I filled tire pressures front with 35 and back with 32, immediately I found my car to be agile. I felt it was bit lazy before, usually 33/30 as recommended, of course it was 30/27 when I refilled air, less pressure burns more fuel and tire damage.

Now, I have 2 questions: what pressure is suitable for car, is it recommended pressure of 33/30 or 40/35 (petrol pump guy telling). Overall, I am quite happy with 35/32. Please anyone suggest…Second, how many KM we can go without stopping the car.

Last one, I am 5'11" and need to adjust my seat little back, but it makes my right corner bit blind in turnings, have to see from windows or bend forward to see full. Also, rear view mirror not giving full view with my height, I can only see bottom half part in the mirror. For full view, I need to bend a bit. Not a problem for short guys, but for tall ones. Not a big issue, but I feel it needs some improvement in this area.

Thank you,

Safe driving

Tyre pressure 40/35 is definitely not recommended, my tyrewala recommend 33 in all tyres on my Alto. They have an automatic machine which keeps pressure of only 33.

Glad you are enjoying your Tiago.
Never go beyond 35 for any of the tires sir.
Follow the recommended tire pressure for most of the times. But high pressure of 35 will cause some bouncing tendency at the front and 32 at the rear is also a bit high. Even in my Ertiga, the recommended pressure is 33/30. Best to follow that.

FE displayed on MID is around 10% off (mostly on the positive side) compared to Tank Full method which is more accurate.

I don't see any limit for this, just keep an eye on the temperature gauge. You know, Tiago has been ran non-stop for 50000 KM during endurance test.

Have you tried to tilt the rear view mirror?

Thank you all for the suggestions

Yes, I tried to tilt it, but I can only see full view when I bend a bit and sit like a 5'7" or some guy, which is uncomfortable for me. When I normally sit, I see half night vision view and half normal. Any other setting did not work for me except sitting bent. I am managing with side mirrors, which give excellent view.

Its nice to hear Tiago run non-stop 50000 KM. I can drive for 200-300 km straight if needed then (very rare).. Thank you for info

Finally, regarding tire pressure, I stick to recommend only

Thanks again all

Enjoy Tiago... drive safe

Hi Guys,
Got delivery of my Tiago yesterday. Will start to compile ownership review once ODO starts ticking. First pic from Parking area.
Congratulations Sir, enjoy your new ride.
Is it petrol?

Empresso Brown is a looker. The most demanded colour is Tiago.

Drive Safe
Happy Motoring
