I had a doubt regarding the AMC and the extended warranty - why do I need it if we already have a warranty by TATA for 1st year. Can we purchase if after 1 year ???
AMC covers regular service costs (oil change, filter change, wheel balancing and alignments etc) where as Warranty covers manufacturing defects and is limited to certain parts of the vehicle (engine for sure, I do not know what else it covers).

I have not had a chance to TD the little wonder. Can someone who has already TDed the Tiago say about the vibration issue. Me and my wife are pretty much in love with the car and would like to make it our first car but one of my close friend told a lot negative about the vibration issue and to choose grand i10 or Xcent over tiago.

I have learnt driving from a driving school fairly recently and not so confident to drive on the road. Hence, I am hesistant on taking a TD as there is always a risk of damaging the TD vehicle if I could not control it.

Any mates who can comment on the Vibration part would be helpful [confused].
Grand i10 and Xcent belong to different segments ! don't they ? Then why compare with Tiago ?

@anandfbd don't go as per hearsay, take a TD with more than 2/3 dealers, with a different experienced friend/relative, you will not regret, also let the OP pour in his opinion.

All the best.
This is very true, NVH is a subjective area and each person's tolerance level varies. In fact, I TD'ed thrice before booking my Tiago to make sure this is what I want.

No worries on damaging the TD car, dealers will have insured it already. Worst case, you can ask the SA to take the wheel for you.

Thanks for that bro. So i'll go for the full amount (including the AMC and Extended warranty).

By the way I was too excited when I saw that sunroof is also being offered (before TATA published the official list and I thought that it'd be manual/electric) but when the accessories list was handed to me, I was disappointed that it's a top-up. Like one of those used in city buses... :(

Hey guys, sorry I have been really busy with my pending tasks during last few days. Please allow me some time to answer all questions.
I don't really get to drive during weekdays as I have a freelancing work from home job.
Congrats Pradeep.

Since you are already using the car, whats your opinion on the seat cover ?
Whether do I need to buy seat covers or not. In my 2 visits to the showroom, I liked the seats and felt that simply putting a towel on the seat will do. (I need something on the seat as sometimes i go for a outdoor game, etc.)

Tata has played a very tricky shot this time ! With respect to price it competes with Eon/K10/SPARK/CELERIO but with respect to features and build quality surely gives tough fight to Grand i10

As budget concious buyers like me will want interiors like Grand i10 and Price like eon/celerio but truly TIAGO pricing is extremely lucrative :)

NVH seemed to be normal.
What I mean by "normal" is : even if you go for XZ variant, its costs around 5 lacs, and within this range, the NVH level seems to be quite good. Secondly, any person would definitely feel 'some' vibration (I also did) but it was very very less. The car really sur-passed my expectations. It all depends on your tolerance level. Thirdly, the SA showed me some precautions in the engine compartment taken by TATA to make sure NVH level's are low.
My suggestion.....TD a WagonR / Indica or something similar (within the price range, don't go above it) and then TD a Tiago.... you'd definitely have a positive feeling about this.

@Pardeep: Congrats on your new buy!

The car is absolutely fantastic and there are now two ways about it! Right from looks, to safety to entertainment to goodies, it has every thing! You name it and this car has it!
I really wonder how could TATA give sooo much for soo little!

One of my close friends got his copy of Tiago and its the same Silver color and trim as yours!

Wish you many many miles of happiness with this small wonder - It's Fantastico!

Congratulations Pardeep on your great buy. Tiago is indeed a very VFM preposition in all its variants. I suppose yours is XZ diesel.
