Just completed reading the whole thread incarnation, must appreciate the efforts you have put in this beauty which is rocking the roads still.

Those days having power steering and air-conditioner was a big luxury and this Sierra had managed to have them, which is what i like with Tata with regards to the features.

The red interiors looks uber cool! Please post more pics with front dashboard and rear seat space.

Of the most, the tyres have changed the way the car looks!

By seeing the last picture in the last post, I feel there's some rust deposit in the body (below the grille and front lights), It's time to have them fixed and suggest you examine for rust under-body too.

yeah the body is showing some rust its almost 19 years old with original paint so it has to show the age. However will have to restore the body work soon. the underbody is strong as i have inspected it already, there is some door vibration as well which needs attention, may be by this year end all will be sorted. right now there is a Tiago that has come home and a Tempo traveller that has been purchased hence a bit short on funds to start the restomod project on sierra.

Incarnation, I see you have a talent in photography and post photography processing. Your pictures look amazing, especially the sky n the clouds.

Sorry for the late reply on your Ladakh query ( if u haven't been there yet). My suggestion would be not to take chances with your Sierra for the following reasons.
1. I personally wouldn't want to be exhausted by the time I reach from Karnataka to Manali ( starting of the route to Leh). And don't want to be tired coming all the way back.
2. Time for travel upto Manali .
3. Leh has very few workshops and lesser for Tata.
4. Let the local Ladakh taxi drivers do their job (they are experts on that terrain) and you enjoy the scenery fully.
5. Would suggest getting hooked to a local tour operator who would organize the trekking, camping etc. U don't experiment with stoves et al.

Last week since it was along weekend and kids were on holiday it was time for a family outing and what better place than goa to relax, be lazy and play around with kids. stayed in a resort called DONNA SYLVIA in cavelossim, Goa. A wonderful property with good service made the day for us. will be uploading the pics once downsized. As always the ride was trouble free and Bee got us home back safe and sound without any hiccup.
