Right you are, actually even that 'reminded' was also overdone for me.
I mean a petrol Corolla!!! Eh, I found it comparable to anything like Vista Diesel in performance(in fact it is).

My wife had no problem getting inside and out in the storme , but then she was wearing jeans , don't know what happens when some 1 wearing a saree has to sit .

Yeah, & apart from jeans, the footwear also matters. Sitting inside Endy with sandals is horrible & if it is high hill sandals, it's even worse.

But i Saw she had to climb up the Storme. May be we could keep a small folding stool (table) in Storme, so that we can use it whenever required (either during ingress/outgress or in picnic).

Uhm, but it is so weird buddy. Stool for going in & out ? If sales of trucks continues in large nos, very soon, just like railway platforms, there will UV platforms in commercial areas.

This is one of the reasons, I dislike trucks as many people find it difficult to sit inside UV. And issue is not just with girls but even old age people find it difficult to get in & out.

A practical approach would be height adjustable suspension, like we see in high end SUVs. When parked, it comes down & once the engine starts, it's height increases, but I don't think this will be viable for models priced below 20-25L.

But I thin so ingress/outgress problem would be with all UVs. Right?

Innova & Outlander don't have such issue.
And I personally checked Audi Q5, it too has same issue.

Suv's are preferred for high ground clearance ,If somebody finds it bit uncomfortable,he better stay away from it or get a stairs or try rope climbing.

What would you do in case of a helicopter or an airplane while at b class airports without bridge ? would you lower the aircraft or declare it a serious issue?

You didn't get my point. Here people are buying UV just for either show-off, to intimidate small vehicles like rickshaws or just for the love of it. I can understand your logic had it been purchased for it's real use - off-roading.
But when we are buying it as 'Family Car', repeat 'Family Car' it should be such that it should be comfortable for everyone.

I will give you simple eg. A cousin of mine travels single seat on his bike (just like me) & he purchased Yamaha R15 V2.0. He however said that even if 10-15% times he had to have a pillion rider on his bike, he would have purchased Honda CBR 150 as pillion seat of R15 is too high & uncomfortable for pillion rider.

Similar is the case with UVs. If you are travelling with family, that too on good roads & also in city, I see no point why kids, ladies & old age people should suffer. Else a UV should be preferably be 2nd or 3rd car & not the primary one.

First, there is ladder or rather staircase to get inside the plane in absence of a bridge. Pls check a pic attached below clicked by me. And for chopper, we don't require bridge in anycase.

I would be buying storme in first week of Jan and as pics posted by Raj of Black beast i have decided to take LX black. But yesterday when rajdeep posted his storme in black, the color was dull. May be the picture quality was not good.

Rajdeep i need your help on this, kindly let me know how does the colour actually look. I am posting a picture in which both the pics are there so do let me know which is the actual colour, does it has so much of glossy finish or not.

One more favour Rajdeep can you upload some interiors pics with the seat covers that would be great.

i missed the mileage part : i have got little over 11kmpl in my 1300km run till now.really wish if it can touch 12.5kmpl

Wait for first 2-3 services to get completed, you will see the difference & avoid driving over 80 kmph & use minimal or no AC for first 1500-2000 kms. It will be useful in long run.

'S' denotes sports=adrenaline rush.

Hope the driver doesn't drive with his date besides him, else it will be impulsive rush. Adrenaline + Date = Impulsive.

Now that Storme has arrived in Pune,waiting for first hand TD report from you.

Hmm, hope Tata guys don't know my user handle on TAI, else they will shoo me off from entrance with board - Truck haters not allowed !
I will surely let you know my feedback. The only problem is I dislike entering showrooms if I don't intend to buy one, but for the sake of Storme, I will surely go there.

Black is always sexy & Classy. White is Royal & Grand

I prefer white. Black becomes hot faster & why buy black when there is enough heat inside.

As you have experienced Strome in & out in all variants, how about direct comparo between lx & vx. Just 4 pics -

Side, front, rear & dash of lx & vx. It should suffice.
And any confirmation whether lx available in urban bronze ?

BTW, how about such UV steps in Endy, fortuner etc ?

Installing this on both sides would mean 9 seater UV, 7 seated & 2 standing.

No buddy urban bronze is not available in LX as i was also looking for the same, but they refused.

Its all same just the roof rails are silver satin finish , in the lx they are black ,
Lx has body coloured side mirrors and vx has chrome

Lx has steel wheels the vx has alloys other then this there is no difference atall in looks .

Just check the pic of interiors I posted above of the lx model .

@ navdoon - yes I saw it maybe because there was fog when Rajdeep clicked the pic and not enough sun light or maybe the car was covered in dust . I think Rajdeep will answer better here . As far as I have seen with my own eyes the black storme simply glitters actually all colours glitter . The red also looks nice have you seen it ?
