Suddenly I am facing lots of frosting and condensation issues. Now the rain has subsided, so condensation should be less. This is from the inside of the glass. It is very difficult to remove the water from glass completely . It simply has a tendency to return within 1min.
Side windows and rear hatch are involved more than the front.
I think it should not happen from Inside , but looks very strange for me. is it due to excess Humid? or something else? curious to know the resolution info Mayank bhai

Mayank try this the next time, as now the rains have subsided, and condensation will occur only from next month when winter set's in.

For the hatch window, use the defogger switch, and for the rest of the glass area, put on the A/C fan on fastest mode, and full heater mode, and the air direction on the front windscreen, the condensation vanishes in seconds.

Hope this helps.

Of Course it's due to excessive humidity collected in the cabin. I cleaned my glasses with colin and aired out the cabin by leaving the windows open for 3 hours straight this sunday. Now I do not see any condensation at all.Hope it lasts.

Just wanted to share recent pics, taken after a long run in the city.
I just adore these 5 spoke alloys. They suit the car very much.Design is simple and very easy to clean.

The silent lock & unlock feature is present in Tigor too. The only time the horn sound comes is when you lock the car without properly shutting any of the doors.

Won't it be an issue in big parking lots and malls to find the car without the beep based lock and unlock buttons? Surprised why TATA has not provided in Nexon,Tiago etc while this is present in all Maruti,Hyundai cars

Absolutely not, because Tata knows they dont have too many cars around compared to Maruti, Hyundai , Honda etc you can visually spot your car in a large lot of cars. [frustration]

Ha Ha Ha, that was very funny.BTW my xuv has this silent function too ie lock and unlock =blink + no sound.
I have started to like it because I don't want my wife and neighbours to wake up and know that I am going to wash the car, right at 6 am!!.I can simply sneak past the bed and into the gallery and unlock the car and reverse it into the open without the fear of angry wife fuming ..What,the car is more important than me/family ??
That puk-puk unlocking shrill sound spoiled many of my early morning adventures, you see.

It's quite some time since the last cleaning session and still the Polish is holding up good. If it lasts further I will get more laid back and then I will do it once a month only.

Hi Mayank Sir, I have been following your thread for few months now, and have gone through every single post as you got accustomed with your new Nexon. I have test driven the Nexon 5 times already and I must say every time the experience was amazing. However I am still not convinced about the long term reliability of the product from the many issues that you and the fellow Nexon owners have reported. Especially the point that the spare wheel boot area gathers water during rain( mentioned by some one) and the fogging of your internal windows during monsoons, these are quality issues that may hint at poor insulation of the cabin. Also how the dealer called you suddenly to tighten the steering mechanism.

So I have thought of asking for your guidance before purchasing the car.
If you can please help me out with the couple of questions below it will help me a lot in my purchase.

1. How many years do you plan to ride the Nexon?
2. After knowing all the issues in your car, would you still have purchased this car one year back?

Hi Mayank Sir,

1) spare wheel boot area gathers water during rain( mentioned by some one)
2)fogging of your internal windows during monsoons, these are quality issues that may hint at poor insulation of the cabin. Also how the dealer called you suddenly to tighten the steering mechanism.
3) How many years do you plan to ride the Nexon?
4) After knowing all the issues in your car, would you still have purchased this car one year back?

First of all, welcome to our forum brother.
Forgive me for numbering your queries pointwise so it benefits all.

1) Never happened with me.
2) Its a non issue.Excessive rains +wet/humid floor mats can do this to any car.In Fact it shows very good insulation, viz. not even allowing moisture in and out, and not poor insulation.
3) Min 10 years,if not 15.Mostly emotional reasons. You see I bond with my cars and two wheelers. I cried a lot after my Swift departure. Won't let this situation come again. Lots of heartache man!! After my swift was gone ,I realised what a big gap left behind in my heart. Call me mad but I will buy it back in a flash,if the purchaser is ready for it. I already have mentioned this to him!! He was smiling.
4) Ofcourse yes. It's a better car than TUV(not a proper 4 cylinder+sluggish) and ecosport(only a pretender, overpriced and funnily looks to be on stilts). But the most important thing--It touches my heart's strings!!Just like XUV,just like Swift, and just like my Discover Dtsi.

Awwww Dr. Mayank, a big man with an emotional heart.... your swift parting.

The points covered by you on the questionnaire's query, very aptly described.

All the best.
