The vehicle was towed to the service center.

They have lifted the car and identified the culprit was the gear oil sensor, they said the sealant was damaged due to over tighten.
But they have replaced the entire sensor set, though the said only sealant was damaged.
The service center guys were really amazing and impressed me a lot. I have visited Hyundai, Honda & Ford service centers before, but these guy’s attention to detail was really good.
Again sorry for no images of the replaced part, as I forgot my mobile at home while leaving to service center.

Yes Sir I got the car back, I traveled to the service center in the towing van and was there until the complete checkup was done and drove back to home.

Yes the bill was for 0, and they mentioned the description as Nexon Campaign in the bill.

Good to hear that TASS identified the root cause and rectified it, and pleased to know they had the faulty part in stock, I've heard nightmare stories of wrong diagnosis and parts taking it's own sweet time to reach, for some other car manufacturers.

Looks like gear oil.Some loose nut or leaking seal.

So it's gear oil aftterall. And yes the seal was leaking.
Guess the leak is minor. Just watch out for any further leak.

Hi all,

I have a doubt on speaker set up in Nexon XM/XMA variants.

I am planning to add tweeters to both front and rear doors, my question is

Does nexon contain crossovers in them to add tweeters.

With out crossovers can we add tweeters.

Will there be any difference in the sound output with and without crossover

Please suggest.

You cannot add tweeters without crossovers! The bass will destroy the tweeters!

Guys one question, with respect to selection of car what is your opinion on this ?
Ford freestyle Titanium+ Petrol vs Tata Nexon XM Petrol.

I understand the comparison is bit different considering the size of the car, since Nexon is mostly compared with breza and Ecosport. But practically from buyers point of view, for the money we spend, both are VFM cars and are 1.2L 3cylinder engine around 7.5~8Lakhs onroad budget.
In my point of view I see:
Freestyle (T+) - VFM, Lot of safety features (ESP, hill hold assist, 6 airbags, Touchscreen HU with android auto), little sporty engine(96PS) with good fuel economy
Nexon XM- VFM, next segment, SUVish, Roomy cabin and boot, XM has things which i basically wanted (2 airbags, ABS, music system, all power windows, central locking)

Need your opinion. (My preferences are safety + Mileage)

Go for the Nexon eyes closed, the biggest advantage if you care for your family, 4* safety.

Get a good pair of LED fog lights, that's all you need to send on.

Mileage purely depends on your driving style, a sedate driver who doesn't use the clutch and brakes moderately, sky is the limit.
